This seems to do what it supposed to which is to measure my water pressure. Easy to use and read. Just remember to release the pressure before each time you want to retest the reading.

Worked great when installing a water heater. We needed an expansion tank, the tank needs to be pressurized with air to the same pressure as the cold water supply. This gauge fits on the hose fitting on the water heater drain, or can be uses on a standard outdoor spigot.

Ignore the 1 star reviews from people who don’t know how to tighten the pressure gauge so that it doesn’t leak. Use a pair of locking pliers to tighten it properly.

That was the cheap part. Worked good but water pressure is 120lbs. Nice quality meter
