Grit Guard Insert - Silver

Description says fits most 12" buckets but I can't find a bucket that works. I took this to Lowes and tried it in every bucket they sell (at least 3 of them were 12" dia buckets) and this would not fit down to the bottom of any of them. It wedged into the sides about 6-8" from the bottom.The product itself is sturdy and well made. I was really pleased when it arrived and I first felt how strong/durable it was. Because of the construction I didn't give it 1 star but can't give it higher because it doesn't do what was promised.

I was very surprised with the quality of these Grit guards. I was expecting flimsy plastic, but it feels just as sturdy as a 5 gallon bucket, and fits inside perfectly. These are an absolute must have for anyone that cares about keeping their car's paint in good condition, you'd be amazed the amount of damage a few particles of sand can do to your car.

Best gadget ever. All the dirty stuff sinks to the bottom and your sponge or brush stays clean.

The item performs as advertised made from quality material fits a standard five gallon bucket the finger holes in the center make for easy removal

Works quite well. It is slightly oversized to fit into the "Homer" buckets from Home Depot, but it still does its job well.
