Is the cord on these better than the original bose in ear headphones with the b&w cord, i had issues with the cord breaking on the originals?

Other products may work perfectly or offer limited functionality; all devices will allow audio playback. Most new newer Android phones work flawlessly with the headset but it is not something that we have officially tested with other specific devices.

what is the difference between the $299 version and the $249 version? the model number (20) appears to be the same.

I had the same question. It appears that the 299 dollar version has the inline call/mic device that the "i" version has always come with. In other words, the newer version allows samsung owners to take calls if their phone has that capability.
