Best upgrade ever
So i am a light rider with plenty of shock pressure headroom. This gives a supple beginning, and very good mid stroke support. Very similar to a coil, only tuneable.

Not good
Received with numerous parts missing that were essential to it operating correctly

Fitted at last
I bought this upgrade for my bike in January, that’s January 2022 😏, life and family commitments got in the way and I never got time to fit it, with time on my hands I finally got to fit it, it was easy to fit and seems to be working fine, ok I’ve been unable to test it fully due to a back injury but at least it’s on my bike and ready for the trails, I’ve set up the sag and it feels really nice and supportive with plenty of air in the negative air chamber, so far I’m happy with it’s performance, when I get to try out I’ll add some more comments👍

Cheap upgrade to make your rear suspension even better
This was pretty easy to install. Just needed allen keys to remove the rear shock from my bike (strongly recommend having a torque wrench for tightening the bolts at the end) and some isopropyl alcohol to clean the shock. Watched some Youtube videos on how to install and it is as easy as it looks. The kit comes with everything you need (eg Negative can upgrade, grease, oil, seals plus some extras). For context, I ride a 2021 Evil Offering v2 with 140mm of rear travel and weigh about 170 pounds with my riding gear. Before the upgrade I used about 200 psi in the rear shock (I was getting about 25% sag and not getting constant bottom outs) and this was a somewhat rough ride compared to the recommended 170 psi (just over 30% sag, bike felt like a magic carpet) but at that psi I was always bottoming out the rear shock (from looking at the o-ring). With the MegNeg upgrade, I’m running it at 220 psi (about 30% sag) and using 2 of the volume reduction bands (need to add about 20% more psi after the upgrade) and the bike now has the best of both worlds with the magic carpet ride feel and no more bottom outs (o-ring is 3-4mm away from the max of 55mm). I can probably let a bit more air out for a little bit smoother ride but I’m very happy with where it is at now in terms of small bump compliance, pedaling platform, and progression of the shock at the end of it’s travel.Highly recommend getting this as it is a relatively cheap upgrade with massive gains (IMO) compared to buying a new shock. I had to service my rear shock anyways and the MegNeg kit more or less gives you the same stuff as the service kit too (grease, oil, and new seals).

Great upgrade for a lower end shock
I installed this on my Deluxe Select+ shock, and now it soaks up small trail chatter like butter. It wasn't horrible before, but now it rides like a much more expensive shock. I'm running 25-30% sag, and it's so plush compared to stock. I haven't hit any big jumps or drops since installing this, so I can't speak to the increased progressiveness it's supposed to provide, but I can say that I used to go through the full 55mm of travel the shock has with just normal trail riding, and now I don't.

Works great!
I'm able to run more sag (35% ) for that soft cloud feeling yet it doesn't bottom out on the jumps. Then again I'm 170lbs so I don't exceed the air pressure limits. The install wasn't too bad either. Wish the seals came with better instructions and identification to know which one fits in which groove but after watching a couple of youtube videos I confirmed that I had them on in the right places.

Big guys love it for sure
200lbs unkitted. Bottom outs on drops or ride too much psi for in woods trails and skip around like a HT. MegNeg now let's be stick to the trail better and the landings on drops and jumps are smoooothh and not blowing through the suspension all the time. Easy to change out. Just look for the YT video that matches your can. Some use the bottom washer inside and some outside. And make sure to get your right length. Can't go wrong.

Cheap, but a big improvement.
The MegNeg is an affordable upgrade to your Rockshox shock.
