Warm and dry through a stream!
These socks saved my toes! My son and I recently were on a cold-weather backcountry trip with Scouts. I had heard a rumor that we were going to have to walk through a knee-high stream, and with air temps around freezing, I thought that sounded pretty bad. I knew there had to be waterproof socks available, and I found these and bought two pairs. We did encounter the stream, so we donned these socks and water shoes for traction. They performed brilliantly, our feet stayed warm and dry!I have secondary Raynaud’s, so keeping my feet warm is important and these were exactly what I needed. I wear a women’s size 10 and bought the size small for myself and for my son who wears men’s size 7.

They are waterproof
I bought these for husband who is a mail carrier who walks his six mile route. His feet can get very wet. These socks have been great! They do fit tight in the foot and leg similar to compression socks but they are definitely waterproof. You do have to hand wash or wash in cold water and air dry. I’d recommend.

Great socks
I kayak fish in cold temps, upper 40s to 50s, in the winter. These socks keep my feet toasty and dry. I really enjoy them. The last thing I want is for my toes to start getting cold, the day starts to go downhill at that point. These socks keep em warm and dry. I get into the water to launch and and cross sandbars, so there is the opportunity for wet feet, but I don't get any.Great socks, get some.

Good product for workers who get feet wet
I bought these for my daughter who is a hotel maid. She got real bad chemical burns on her feet from cleaning the shower because they have to get in to scrub with lime away. When they rinse their feet get wet with these chemicals. (Awful, right??). These have protected her feet and kept the chemicals off. They really are waterproof! And her feet are healing. Thank you.

Dry feet in a wet environment.
I live in the northernmost rain forest - Cordova, AK. It’s inevitable you will have wet feet almost as soon as you head out for a run. Unless you buy these socks, that is. They are A-MAZING!(I do wear a thin pair of socks underneath just so the ‘rubber’ isn’t directly against my skin, but I don’t know if I’d even notice the rubber once I start running.)

They work
They run a bit large so that is the only problem. They are waterproof and comfy.

Protects feet when in a cast or walking boot
I broke my leg just before Christmas & we had 4+ feet of snow in the yard. These socks were a life saver while recovering with the cast & walking book. Socks kept the snow off my toes, protected them & were warm but still didn’t keep my feet from breathing - which would have caused an infection (surgery wound).Recovery would not have been the same without these socks. I was skeptical but the do keep water out but still breath - they are not cotton but much better than a plastic boot or wetsuit boot.

Recommended, if you follow this advice:
Everything as advertised, but I'd recommend one size larger if you are at the top of the size ranges. While ment to fit snug and tight, they were more on the right side, but I also wear tight/slightly too small socks. For cotton socks that works but, for this, going up a size is the safer bet than wondering if your sock size will match up like I did. Still wearable and fully functional but less comfortable.
