Q: Would this work with the iphone se 3rd generation? thank you.

You should check with Pioneer Rayz. I did look at Developer information in Apple App Store. Under “Compatibility”, it states “iPhone Requires iOS 12.4 or later.” The 3rd Generation iPhone SE is the latest model so I believe it should work with the Rayz headphones.

No Bluetooth. They are wired connect. I like mine very much. Very good sound.

Q: I don't want noise isolating earbuds that have to be tightly inserted into the ear. Do these sit in the ear like the earbuds that came with my iPhone?

These earbuds do fit tightly in the ear to prevent noise from creeping in. This aids its active noise canceling feature. I think all noise cancelling headphones require a tight seal around the ear canal. An over the ear headphones are the most comfortable, followed by some that fill your ear without inserting into your ear canal.
