It's a book!
An excellent book that showed up early and was ready to learn. It came with little to no highlighting. Great price.

Good book but previous edition has all of the self-assessment tests
The only disappointing thing about the book is the previous edition of this book has all of the assessments available in the book itself without having to buy the access code. I find it ridiculousness that you have to buy an access code to take self-assessment tests that are available in the public domain. The book itself is well written and an easy read. The authors suggest some good practical ideas to help leaders.

developing (people) management skills
To me, this book was more about communication and understanding people than anything else. If you study and apply the principles in this book, you will become a better people-person.

Don't Buy Ebook, Kindle App is garbage for students
Do NOT get EBOOK unless you like failing. Cannot take notes with apple pencil or scroll efficiently. It's unacceptable that the Kindle is app is still garbage and doesn't allow you to write on the ebook or quickly swipe vertically through the pages. In a engineering class these are essential.... For $60 , I would expect to be able to fully engage with the text, but that is impossible with this book as I can't use my apple pencil because Kindle app is incompetent. Amazon needs to hire some of those computer science interns to update this app and make it usable for students who need to write on the book in order to learn. The built in note feature is garbage and a head ache to use, I recommend either buying the text copy or bootlegging a pdf. that actually lets you write on it. I'm against the bootlegging but the kindle's incompetence really leaves little choice. It's a shame that software exists that I can put dog ears and a nose on my face instantly via a camera for FREE, but I can't write on a pdf. with an electronic pen for $60.00 = 8 hours minimum wage, which is what most buyers of this book are probably on.Get it together Amazon!
