Just learn how to use them.
These product right is very good. I've been practicing for a while with them and the seem to work just fine. For filling, shading and tracing lines are just great. Like any other media(ink, markers, colors) that needs to be mixed, all you gotta do is learn to mixed them together when you're doing shading. Get some inking instruction so you won't mess up ur work by overlapping to many shades. Beginners can have alot of fun with this assorted pens.

Great affordable pens from one of my favorite brands
The XS and S sized PITT pens have been some of my favorite art pens for about a decade. Decided to try these out for messing with grey tones, and they work great! A way more affordable alternative to my COPIC grey tone markers. An easy recommendation!

YOU NEED THESE IN YOUR STUDIO
I have run these dry! I love these pens and will definitely buy again. Its really good quality and produced exactly what I wanted. Nice grey tones and I couldn't get enough of them. I use mainly for anime art. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Great Markers.
They work pretty damn good, just be careful of the type of paper you use it on. Bleed through is minimal to none on most papers, the color of the marker varies very little to what actually comes out on paper as long as you color in single strokes in the same direction, like painting.

Very Nice Pen Set
Let me say first up, if you're looking for a professional pen set, look somewhere else. That aside, this is a pretty good amateur set. This pen set comes with 8 assorted pens, as advertised. One is a "thin" felt tip (thicker then most ball tip pens), a medium felt tip pen, and 6 marker tip pens, which are only different from each other thanks to the ink tone, which ranges from light gray to pure India Ink black. If you're not used to drawing with pens, this is a great set to start out with. Practice a bit, and you'll be making some fine art in no time. If you're more on the experienced side, well, you don't really need ME to tell you what to do. Haven't been able to tell if they're refillable or not. The back end rotates, but I'm too scared of making a huge mess to try to pull it off. Guess I'll find out when the ink runs out in one of them, but this is a great value either way.

Insane longevity!!
Love Faber-Castell. The longevity of their markers are much better than any fine art marker I've ever experienced otherwise. I have a set of greyscale markers that I bought 4 years ago (used a lot for a year, haven't used as much in the last 3), and I actually bought a replacement set assuming they were dead.....when i went to test they, they were STILL. GREAT. Goes on well, & I recommend highly if you only use marker occasionally. Big fan, would choose over Coptic any day.

I thought these would write better on painted pages but I had a hard time getting the look I wanted. Good name product and maybe just wrong size for what I needed.

Love these markers
I'm a (very) amateur artist, and I was looking for a way to ink my drawings that wouldnt run with my prismacolor markers when I color. These hold up well, they in fact have never bled through the paper I use like the prismas do, and they are very easy to control. The brush tips make a consistent line and the colors are nice for adding small details to doodles that the fatter prismas cant do. Oddly enough, though, my Faber Castell colored pencils will not write over the ink of the shaded pens.

Wonderful pens!
I finally bought these after thinking of getting professional-grade pens and I have been extremely pleased with their performance. They are fun to illustrate with, I intend to buy these as gifts for creative friends in future too. They are not quite the metal-nibbed pens of Japanese Manga artists, but they do use India Ink which I know to be highly regarded for its color-fastness and permanence. I will be using these for story-boarding my animation ideas soon.
