Fine Tip Sharpie Permanent Markers in Red are a must have in my home. So easy to write with, produces a smooth vibrant red line that does not blur. Great for use in the home, home office, and in my husband's workshop. I love using them in the kitchen, for marking food and similar items. This 12 pack set is a terrific value, too. Crammed my desk drawer with this 12 pack for dorm stuff and group projects. I label storage bins, my roommate’s food, even our shared whiteboard calendar. The red ink pops and dries fast so it doesn’t smear on lecture notes. I’m glad the tips stay fine even after a hectic week.

I bought this 12 pack of red sharpies to live in my scrub pockets and at the nurses station. I use them for labeling IV tubing, blood tubes, and taping notes on bed rails at 3 a.m. The ink grabs onto those plastic medication bags and doesn’t smear when i wipe with alcohol, which made me really glad during a hectic code blue. I like the fine tip because I can squeeze tiny notes on lab stickers without it bleeding everywhere. Caps snap on tight so they don’t dry out in my pocket. I leave a few at the desk and keep the rest in my locker.

I still prefer this brand of markers; both the colors and the writing feel are absolutely perfect.

I’m very happy with the Sharpie fine permanent marker. I ordered the 12 ct. markers in red; they arrived in a convenient box that’s easy to store in a desk a few weeks ago. They haven’t disappointed me. I typically use this type of marker to create posters and signs and also to grade essays. I teach college writing. I think this marker is ideal for these purposes. The color is a vibrant and appealing tomato red that goes on sleekly and shows up particularly well on white or light-colored paper. It’s just the right shade to attract attention and stand out without being ostentatious. The tip of the pen is sturdy and yields a thin but not too fine imprint. This well-constructed pen is slim, easy to handle and not too bulky. The cap closes firmly so that the pen doesn’t link or bleed when stuffed in the bottom of a handbag. It also has a “clip” on the handle so that you can use it as a placeholder and attach it to thin notebook paper. The best part of the pen is the ink doesn’t bleed. I spilled water on my paper deliberately to test it. The red ink on my paper did not run or blotch. Another positive feature is that it’s odorless. I have using this pen now for a few weeks and from what I can see, the ink does not dry out and seems to be durable. This is a high quality study permanent marker that’s just ideal for my purposes. It’s also reasonably priced.

The tip of these markers are thick & not practical for hand writing unless if someone needs to write on bigger pages. I am returning it bcs not of use for my needed purpose.
