This has restored my 4 year old V8 Absolute back to life. I can use the powered attachments again!I know these batteries are not as high quality as Dyson OEM. However, I can buy almost 5 of these for the price of one OEM Dyson battery. Installation was a breeze, 3 screws and I was done in 5 minutes.Do pay attention to the instructions and do not charge the battery up right after you have discharged it. This is probably the mistake a lot of people make with this battery. Because it is so cheap it will have lousy thermal management meaning if you charge it while it's warm it will damage the cells causing it to fail very early. Don't start to recharge it until the battery is all the way back to room temperature.I think if you do that you greatly increase the odds this battery will serve you for a decent amount of time.

Working fine! Battery is working as good as the original battery. I am unplugging the Dyson before recharging as directed on the replacement battery!

Battery fit Dyson v8 Absolute for much less than official Dyson replacement. Three weeks in it holds a good amount of charge and seems to work well.

After 5yrs of MULTIPLE DAILY USES with our Dyson V8, it finally stopped charging. With Pets, and kids, we literally use it multiple times a day. I looked into getting an all new Dyson, but there is literally nothing wrong with the one we have, aside from the charging issue. Got this battery, installed it, and it was back in Business. Dyson wanted $129 for a replacement battery.............which didn't make sense.

Super easy install(with help of Utube),working just fine..happy with price vs Dyson. Too early to speak on longevity....does not come with extra screws..so careful not to loose originals. I now unplug as soon as charged,no longer keep plugged in all day.

I have a five year old Dyson and it was lasting a minute or two on full power; it's like new now. it might actually last longer than it did on the original battery (larger capacity in this one?)You'll be glad you bought it!

Safely delivered well-packed. Fits my Costco purchased Dyson fine. My original battery is rated 2800mAh and both batteries are essentially brand new. I only ordered the 4500mAh battery to extend the run time so I would not have to recharge 3/4 of the way through. Unfortunately, the new battery only lasts about 5 minutes longer than the original. I timed it on several occasions. There's no way it is 4500mAh. It works fine, just not up to its rated 4500.
