P&S Professional Detail Products - Brake Buster Wheel Cleaner - Non Acid, Removes Brake Dust, Oil, Dirt, Light Corrosion (1 Pint)

My wheels were looking FILTHY so after researching - I ordered P&S Brakebuster Tyre and Wheel Cleaner. Pros - Much better than the Armor All I previously used. It changes colour as it cleans. Cons - Pungent smell. Used a fifth of bottle so unsure how economical unless I can dilute this. Overall would recommend.

First time using a product like this, I'm disabled so i can't do a lot of scrubbing, applied the solution then gently brushed. Fantastic result, highly recommend.

Fantastic product , works well , I valet my car weekly so alloys don’t get that dirty , does what it says on the tin , only criticism is that it don’t go far and not liking the spray from nozzle , very direct and narrow

Now I'm no pro detailer so I'll throw this out there, but from all the good I heard about this I rushed to buy it. Ok so I went ahead and rinsed my car down first including the wheels with just water, I then went ahead and sprayed this stuff on my wheels and used a brush to agitate the surface and get some good dirt off which it did as the foam went brown. looking online it says give your wheels another going over until the product stays white foamy so I did this and initially I was impressed with how this turned out... until literally after washing and shampooing my car and hydrophobic coating it and then drying the car, when all was dry I noticed major dirt still accumulated between some alloy spokes what I thought should have easily been broken down with the 2 - 3 dressings I gave but nope there was still significant build up what baffled me. maybe I really missed these areas somehow but the whole car was thoroughly rinsed and washed and cleaned including the wheels or so I thought. this 1 bottle has near gone so will need to get a new bottle and retry to see if a thorough detailing just of the tyres fixes this and if not I think ill move on to a new brand. just a side note, the bottle I purchased had leaked and the seller must have known this as it has some kind of green tape around the screw section of the bottle neck. I don't think there was much leakage as the bottle was full but still something to note.

I just purchased a new BMW and they are notorious for throwing off a ton of brake dust. I asked the shop where I had my PPF and ceramic done for recommendations on cleaning products and for a wheel cleaner and they said to try P&S Brake Buster. I did some research and liked the fact that this is not an acid based cleaner because I did not want to risk damaging the ceramic coating on my wheels. The bottle arrived in perfect condition and I proceeded to clean one wheel first to make sure it worked ok without any issues. I sprayed a good amount of product on one of the front tires and wheels and let it sit for several minutes. I could instantly see a little foaming action and some dirt and grime start to run down. I then used a Tuf Shine tire brush on the tire and three different sizes of wheel woolies on the wheel spokes and barrel. I spent maybe five minutes working on the tire, and then pressure washed everything off. Everything looked good and much cleaner so I proceeded on the other three wheels. I then washed the whole car and and also used my foam gun to give the wheels and tires a second cleaning with regular car soap. When I was all done drying everything, the tires definitely looked cleaner and the wheels pretty much looked as good as when I picked up the car a month ago. Using this product every week or two should keep the wheels and tires looking great and prevent any long term build up. I used between a half and a third of the bottle to clean four tires and rims and I applied a pretty liberal amount. When this bottle runs out, I will probably purchase a one gallon container of it as well as a dedicated hand pump foam sprayer to apply it. It should work even better when applied with a good foaming sprayer and it should be more economical diluting it a bit and purchasing the larger size bottle.

Works really well. Picked this up to use on a Cadillac with Satin Graphite (black) alloy wheels. This particular car throws a lot of dust, and the previous wheel cleaner wasn't up to the task. Night and day difference, really. Spray on, wait about two minutes, then use your preferred implement to clean your rims. Watch as the brake dust comes right off. Rinse as needed, then admire the shine. That's one thing I have to emphasize, the shine. The other cleaner I had been using left the wheels looking almost foggy, but not this one. It doesn't smell pleasant, but I really don't care since it's going on the wheels. One thing to note, while the product is very effective, the spray trigger not so much. This was a brand new bottle and the trigger was struggling every so often. I imagine it will break before I get to the end of the bottle. Not sure if this is a product defect or just damage from shipping, but it's worth mentioning.
