Word Mania - PC

Very disappointing. The board is about 1/6 of the size of the old board; talk about boring. If you played the Word Connect, using Windows 98, you will not like this game. There are very few tiles to play with, too. If you are looking for a Scrabble type game, this is terrible. I had been trying to find Word Connect, like the one I had on my old Windows 98; thinking the name was the same, I thought I might have the fun again of a complex game--WRONG! I tried installing the Puzzles and Games, but that one is installed, but it won't open. I have XP, so there should not be a problem! I cannot in good conscience recommend this game set. I wonder why EGames cannot make Word Connect the way it was on Windows 98, which was big enough to take up the whole screen. This Word Connect is about 4 inches by 4 inches; in addition, there are little chances for increased letter and word scores.

These are OLD old games written a long time ago. Some 8 bit looking graphics. Confusing as to how to not only install but run them. Even for XP some of the installations don't work.I was just looking for some basic word games, and even at a cheap price I should have saved my money. There is a word that starts with a c and ends with an rp that described this disk.

Not every game on this dvd could be installed on my computer .Only two games were able to be installed !!!

Word games are a great way to spend spend some otherwise boring hours. The shipping was really fast and a great deal on some really fun games. Each one gets the brain a bit more active and ready for the next game. Lots of fun hours for very little money.

I love these games and thought I would give it a try on Windows 7.....- Did Not Work! company did state for Windows xl, vista... for the price I tried it! so now I wish the original company would make it for Windows 7/8

Was not what I was expecting. It is not the same games that you show and display. Very disappointed. Some of the games thati received are fun but most of them are not what was reported on your display.

i have a 64 bit Gateway CPU. It is fast, it does all kinds of tricks, but it is totally unable to run many games because they were not built for the newer machines. I love word games, but this one fails.
