Outstanding Clutch.
This company makes the best clutches in the world, bar none.Their cheapest clutches are better than the performance versions of other brands.I made a mistake putting in this one, and the throw out bearing has been "crooked" and making noise, which is supposed to shorten the life of the clutch.W3ll, I have already put 20k miles of very hard driving on it, and that clutch is barely broken in.Ran my transmission without gear oil for days--no problem.Best clutches in the world, bar none.No wonder Toyota dominates 24 hr racing. This is their company.

Nice OEM aftermarket clutch.
Still in break in period but very smooth and responsive, only reason for 4 stars is it didn't include grease for the throwout bearing fork. Otherwise top shelf quality.

Their quality control is BAD! I spent a weekend replacing the clutch only ...
Throw-out bearing lasted only 6 months and then needed to be replaced. Do yourself a favour, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Their quality control is BAD! I spent a weekend replacing the clutch only to have a damned throw-out bearing go out in exactly 6 months.

I feel that the OEM is better built. The shock springs on this unit are ...
The parts fit. Looking at the clutch disk and pressure plate, I feel that the OEM is better built. The shock springs on this unit are smaller than the OEM, and I am unsure if they are actually just rubber, or a metal spring wrapped in a rubber type cover. The alignment tool requires the use of a plastic bushing (included) to actually align the disk. That plastic bushing gets left behind in the crankshaft, because there is no way to remove it after installing the clutch. The plastic bushing takes the place of a pilot bearing, which my 2006 corolla CE does not use.The throwout bearing is identical to the original, even the same brand (Nachi). No packet of spline grease is included. Auto parts stores will have no idea if you ask to buy some. My best guess of what to use, after much online research is to use either NLGI-2 high temp/high pressure grease, or brake caliper grease. I used the NLGI-2 grease on the splines (rubbed it all over the tranny spline, then wiped off almost all of it), and also on the lube points of the clutch fork (the two spots where it rubs the throwout bearing, the dimple in the middle, and the dimple where the clutch cylinder contacts). The pressure plate surface finish is turned with moderately deep grooves. I understand that a ground surface is better suited. The OE pressure plate was also turned however.Overall, the parts all look adequate and should have a long service life. However, this does not seem to be as well built as the original equipment.
