does what it says on the tin
I like the fact you can switch the maglite onthen place it lens down on a table and the lens is protected while producing a gentle light from the crowns.I would have liked the Crown circle to have been a bit chunkier .

First to buy/eview.Positives:- Perfect fitment- Extremly well machined and finished- Looks like it could have been made by Maglite themselves.- Adds defensive protection. This will do more harm than a clout on the head should a burglar enter your property.Negatives:- The satin finish does not match the glossy Maglite finish (see photos)- It's bloody expensive for What is ultimately just a small ring of metal!
