Update 8/9/2017 someone easily cut this lock and stole my $600.00 bike. How is this piece of crap anti-theft again? And it has almost 5 stars because why, everyone here experienced an almost theft and this lock prevented it from happening? This is advertised as anti-theft, not as a beautiful, and can withstand the weather lock blah blah..... The review should be based on what the lock is for, and that is safety! People usually buy a product based on good reviews, and it is misleading if your review is not based on the practicality of the product. In this case the product provides no safe guard to your property. This is what the seller told me:"The use of any bike lock is designed to deter thieves, but there isn't a bike lock made that can guarantee your bike won't be stolen by a determined thief. Every fire truck in the New York City area (or all over America) carries an industrial Bolt Cutter that will cut any cable, chain or lock they encounter, and any one can buy one of these industrial Bolt Cutters at nearly any hardware store in America. Professional bike thieves carry these to make their job easy and quick."Yet they advertise as "anti-theft" and in the product description section with bullet points says, "THIEVES GO ELSEWHERE- Deterred by the cut resistant 3/8" PVC coated braided steel cable."None of this true as stated in the portion of the email I've attached.And contrary to their claims, it doesn't require industrial grade bold cutters to achieve the job with this lock. Furthermore, why advertise that they are "anti-theft" if it is only a means of deterrence?Don't risk your property with this product! And please, write your reviews wisely and with caution because iwe all depend on it.

Good lock. The combo is easy to set and open. Like someone else mentioned, it isn't easy to stretch the cable, though. It stays coiled, but that's really not much of a big deal.

I Love it! It is perfect and Just what I was looking for!

I bought this to secure the bike that I used to transport me to work. I used to park my bike in a highly visible area at my job (valet parking area near the lobby entrance at the building where I work); This didn't deter a thief to cut through this cable lock and take my bike. The only thing they left behind was this clipped product, still coiled around the bike rack... Smh...

Great lock! The only negative is that it is really hard to straighten out.

This lock is exactly as described, arrived on time. My ten year old daughter set it up herself, I attached the holder to her bike easily.
