If you are a person that use candles this is for you. When I got it I couldn't believe it. The item works. Imagine you don't have to go to buy lighters this save you money. I do recommend this

we got this because restaurants hardly give out matches anymore in nyc. This works but it takes some getting used to. The spark from the unit sometimes doesn't light a wick and it sometimes takes more than one shot. Once it goes out, you have to physically shut the unit off, turn it on, and then hit the spark button. so every time it goes out during candle lighting, it takes 3 (short) steps to get it on again. If you're lighting more than 3 candles, this can be a pain. we've gotten better at it and can sometimes light 4 or 5 candles, but that's about it. Don't know how long it will last either but we've had it for about 3 months, and it's still working. Needs USB charging, and it lasts about a week between charges, but we only light candles maybe 3 times a week.

This looks just like the other arc lighter I have. It works very differently though. You have to slide the power button on, then run your finger over the lights that show charge. It kicks on for a set amount of time then locks out. Turn it off and on again to use again, no way to stop the arc unless you turn it off (or wait for the lock out) once initiated.

The concept here is a good one. You don't have to deal with fussy lighters that fail after a few uses and you don't have to worry about refilling butane. The problem is that this lighter might light half a dozen wicks before needing to be recharged. Champagne problem but when you have multiple three-wick candles on deck, it's kind of a hassle. Also, you'll be hard-pressed to light multiple wicks in one go. You'll need to reignite the lighter for each wick.

This was the worse lighter I have ever purchased. I purchased the lighter to light my candles, but the lighter won't stay lit long enough to light the candle. I have to switch on the start button and hold it down just to turn the lighter on, but the flame goes out after 3 seconds, so I have to keep switching the lighter on and off until I'm finally able to light my candle. I purchased two of these lighters and they both are garbage. Amazon - please fix these lighters or stop selling them and return my money.

Although it took me a bit to use it correctly (hitting top button on LED chain to start flame) this is a quick, clean and direct lighter. Adjustable to small or really deep candles. One scary incident—I left the unit lying w/the power buttons touching the counter and it turned itself on and drained the battery.

Now, all it does is light up the LEDS until the battery is dead; won't strike, doesn't light; actually it does NOTHING I can't recommend spending money on this

Difficult to use. You press the button to ignite and it doesn’t ignite right away, when it does you can’t always get the wick or the incense to catch fire and it is difficult to get it to light again with the button. It appears as if it only ignites when it wants to.

The product did not work after the first charge.
