Works as it should and I like that it has adjustable heat. As the instructions state, plug in and let it heat up before applying the double sided adhesive. Careful, it does get really hot turned up all the way! Be sure to check the temperature before letting your reptile sleep and hangout where the pad is. I’m using this for a ball python and sure the snake will like it. Highly recommended and will be ordering the larger one for my snakes.

As a hermit crab owner, maintaining the ideal temperature in my 55-gallon tank has always been a challenge. After some research, I decided to give this heater a try. Firstly, I appreciate the heater's efficiency and effectiveness. It does a commendable job of providing steady and consistent heat to the tank, helping to create a comfortable environment for my hermit crabs. The adjustable thermostat dial allows for temperature control, thought it’s not precise. One of the standout features of this heater is its ability to avoid overheating. Safety is a top priority, especially when it comes to the delicate ecosystems within our tanks. It's a reliable and worry-free option for keeping the temperature within a safe range. However, it's important to note that for a tank as large as 55 gallons, this heater alone may not be sufficient to maintain the desired temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit consistently. While the heater does a decent job, it's recommended to use it in conjunction with additional heating solutions to achieve optimal conditions. It's a reliable and safe option that effectively contributes to maintaining the appropriate temperature within the tank. Just be aware that for larger tanks, additional heating equipment may be necessary to achieve the desired temperature consistently throughout the enclosure.

Works very well, great temperature rating to warm sand and coconut fibers, it’s holding up well no issue with the heating pad, the adhesive on it works well to keep it in place, size works to a hot spot for any habitat size, easy to use

I bought this little heat pad for my 10 gallon tank for a hognose snake. Put under the tank as instructed. The heating pad would never really get my tank above 83° and it ended up raising the humidity in my tank to above 60%. So it wasn't warm enough for my snake, and the humidity was too high. I ended up going with a 25w basking light which got the temp up to between 88-92 and lowered the humidity to about 30%. If you get this heating pad just know you may have to use supplemental heat if you need above 85°

I use it for seedlings that require a high temperature. It works great

Do not buy it does not stick to the tank at all. It sucks.
