Great as fresh buttermilk substitute for breadmaker recipe
I was selling buttermilk bread at the farmers market. It worked perfectly for my recipe. I would reconstitute the amount for buttermilk needed. It dissolved easily and quickly. The shelf life is wonderful, I don't have the waste of fresh buttermilk, because I make what I need. The thickness of the reconstituted milk works.I guess the returnability is easy, because Amazon has always been reasonable with anything I have returned, but I have never had to return this.

Great product and super handy for baking
I mostly use this buttermilk powder in my homemade pancake mix. Tastes delicious! Very convenient to have on hand in case I find a recipe that calls for buttermilk. I have bought it twice. Lasts a long time. Would definitely purchase this brand again.

Great shelf stable alternative to fresh buttermilk
Who doesn't love buttermilk biscuits and buttermilk pancakes? This is a great way to mix up as much or as little buttermilk as you need for a recipe, without worrying if the remainder will go bad before you have a chance to use it up. I'm not much for just drinking buttermilk out of a glass, but I'm very pleased with the flavor of this product in recipes. The powder mixes easily with water. It's economical, and I expect that it will keep as well in a cool dry place as powdered milk will.

Make Better Biscuits!!
I did the math: to make 1 cup buttermilk, use 3 Tablespoons buttermilk powder plus enough water to make 1 cup. I added 2 Tablespoons to the 2/3 cup milk in my biscuit recipe and got better biscuits! I'm going to love having this on hand for scratch biscuits, pancakes, etc.

for baking or marinating the best you can imagine as buttermilk is not available in all stores and powder is lasting very long so you have it available if needed PLUS the price is way below waht you pay for buttermilk in stores
