Simple, effective shin guards that do the job. I've played soccer at a high level my whole life and never saw the need to pay excessively for shin guards. They are curved appropriately for your leg and work perfectly for me at 5'6".

Had to buy compression sleeves to hold these in place. Just as advertised, they're lighter than most guards, as they're half the size. Definitely, half the protection. I'm not giving them five stars because they were a bit uncomfortable to wear in comparison to other guards. Otherwise great buy
