Messages from the Mermaids: A 44-Card Deck and Guidebook

i bought this deck before going on vacation to the ocean. i bonded with it on the beach by the sea and i think this really helped me to connect fully with this deck. i love all of the imagery on each of the cards, even the adorable seashell print on the backs of the cards. the mermaids are all sizes, genders, and skin tones which is so beautiful and inclusive. this deck has such beautiful loving energy and the mermaids bring great wisdom. as an ocean lover and sea witch, this is a must have for my collection!! i highly recommend purchasing this if you feel connected to/love the ocean or mermaids

I recently purchased these cards and must say how wonderful they are! When I opened them I got such a feel of the ocean, sea spray and foam feeling,like a warm rush of connection to the ocean. The cards are very spot on and accurate as to whats going on in my life and filled with heart and depth. I have always loved the sea and mermaids and always felt a deep connection. They have given me a bridge to connecting more with that part of myself, the merfolk and helps in my self acceptance. I feel like I made a new group of caring friends, who are very deep powerul but caring,forgiving, playful and loving. The illustrations are very alive and carry you in to their watery world.

I was told by a friend who I purchased this deck for that the energy in each and every card in this deck was amazingly powerful. When I received mine about an hour ago I could not believe how each card resonated and inspired me. The bar was raised also because the mermaids are ethnically diverse. I cannot wait to use them as soon as I'm done charging the deck. Beautiful, beautiful work, heart and soul went into this deck's creation.

You also get a book by Karen Kay that has all the in depth meanings for each of the cards. The book also has lots of extras like how to create a sacred mermaid space, a beautiful poem, a few meditative techniques, and of course how to use the cards, ect. Anyone can use Messages from the Mermaids! It's relaxing, inspiring, and fun! It will definitely put you in a mermaid mood. What a wonderful cards!

With Messages from the Mermaids, Karen Kay has produced a different style deck from her Oracle of the Fairies deck. Each card has a hand-drawn style illustration with a single word prompt. The mermaids rendered have different colored skin, shapes and ages with one merman and one with Neptune, instead of the stereotypical way mermaids are often depicted. The deck is predominately shades of blue. Many of the illustrations are fairly dark making it difficult to see the smaller parts of the drawings. However, the darker cards can also evoke deeper emotions that may need to be addressed. Many of the word prompts are emotionally related and appropriate for a water based deck and the association between water and emotions. The deck could be used for deep inner work and journaling prompts. There is a card-sized book that provides additional information for each card, listing each alphabetically, rather than numerically. The cards and book are housed in a typical oracle card box. The cards are a good weight card stock that is heavy enough for long use, but has enough give that shuffling doesn't result in fly-away cards. The cards are varnished, but non-sticky even on the first shuffle. I think this is a great deck for anyone who loves mermaids, or wants to delve into some emotional work.

This is a beautiful card deck created by Hayhouse author Karen Kay and artwork by Linda Olsen.This card deck has one of more mermaid on each card and some of the cards have more of a story then others.I will admit that I prefer Karen's fairy card deck much more then this one.This card deck owever isn't all bad though.The mermaids on it are very pretty.This card deck is very diverse in a few ways you see not only white mermaids/mermen but there are also well mermaids of color as well.Most of the background of the cards are abstract like and mostly of mermaids/Mermen under water.And at the bottom of the card is a simple word of just a few words.If you want more of a definition of the card you can check the enclosed booklet that comes with the cards.The cards are in alphebetical order in the book and the cards picture is also seen in the booklet which I really like as well.Some of the card names include Inner Knowing,Mystery,Breaking Free,Love,Contentment,as well as other things.If you own Magical Mermaids/Dolphins card deck.You will also noticed that this card deck has some of the same names as that card deck which I find is very cool.For example both decks have a Waiting,Friendship,Asking For Help,and Blessings card in the card decks.When I offer free card readings to people I combine both card decks and they both work well together.So if you like Karen Kay and you like mermaids this is the card deck to get.

I have a lot of Oracle Decks This one is literally so beautiful It has such an intuitive energy Each card has lovely art work and captures the magic of mermaid and water spirit energy I always find these cards seem to summarise my daily card Reading It’s nice using a brand new deck like this They have a fresh vibe and each time I pick a card the message is always spot on The quality of the cards is lovely I like the fact you can use your intuition to go deeper into the meaning of each card
