Good quality wood carving kit at a great price
I have wanted to try wood carving for a long time and as the pubs and restaurants are all about to be closed for a while I thought this was a great time to start. I looked around for a while on Amazon and settled on the Similky 5 in 1 carving kit. It includes all the tools to get started including a chip carving knife, whittling knife, hook knife, as well as a sharpening/polishing leather and wax to protect the blade. The walnut handles are well fitted and comfortable to hold. The knives seem to be a great quality.

Great for scouting
This is absolutely great value for money!I am a scout leader, and we use these all the time, this is the cheapest one we have bought, and wow! These are much better than the ones we have, the carry case is very practical.It also comes with leather and a polish for the knives! Once we need more I will defo buy again!

Whittle away
Brought this set for my son who likes to do a little bit of Witling they are extremely sharp, So I brought a special gloves to go with them so he doesn’t lose a finger Lol.It’s a great little star inset

Excellent knives
These are great knives and very very sharp. Not sure I would let a child loose with them. Really enjoying whittling with them, I’m a beginner. Can be awkward to do small curly bits but that’s probably my inexperience. Would recommend for anyone starting off.REM
