Sticky Fingers Bakeries was founded in 1987 by fraternity brothers Tom Owens and Ted Vogelman in San Diego, initially as a thriving retail bakery. The scones in particular were highly popular, selling out every day. Requests for the recipe kept coming. So Tom and Ted worked to develop a scone mix that would enable their busy patrons to recreate the bakery's popular scones at home by just adding water. The mix was a hit. So they kept going. And the company kept growing. Today our products include our popular scone mixes (one of the largest selections of English scone mixes sold worldwide), as well as muffin mixes, an Irish soda bread mix, three brownie mixes, and a line of premium fruit spreads, including curds, jams, jellies and fruit butters. Quality ingredients are standard at Sticky Fingers Bakeries. Mixes contain no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, trans-fats or saturated fats. Fruit spreads are made in small batches with loads of fresh fruit and contain no preservatives, artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup. We care what goes into our products. Everyone said these scones were great
Very easy to make. Decent end result. Some of my guests really liked them, one guest said she wouldn’t have known they were GF if I hadn’t told her. I’m not GF so in comparison to gluten scones (from scratch) these are just ok, not “oh I must make these again!”They dough is rather runny so you wouldn’t be a able to shape these into triangles (I mean you could but that would take a lot of effort)

Tastes so good, hard to believe it’s gluten free!
These gluten free scones are so good it’s hard to tell you are eating gluten free! We like them with Irish butter, lemon curd, or preserves!! Highly recommend!

Great taste cinch to make a d great value
I started buying these because I’m gluten intolerant but became a huge fan for the taste, texture and incredible ease of preparation. I find they are great with a meal or as a snack. They also freeze and defrost well, so I make the lot and have them taste as fresh as just made whenever I want

Very easy to make, with good texture and taste. The best scone mix I have found so far.

Versatile
I use this product along with a Paleo pancake mix, plus ground flax seeds and sparkling water to make extra thin very crisp pancakes, no eggs added. Absolutely delicious.

Not worth eating again
I bought these because people raved about them. I found them to be dry and lacking the crumbliness of scones. I will stick to Mama's scone mix.
