A fun little tchotchke for your desk
I bought this to put on my desk next to my monitors, and it works pretty well for that. As you'd expect, it just sits there and acts as a little android guy. He doesn't do much else. You can move his arms up and down, and that is about it.This isn't really a toy to play with. Its is more of a little doodad that sits there and says to other people "yeah I like android and I'll spend money to prove it."I don't feel like it is too durable. My brother came over once and hes a barbarian so he tried to spin his head around. I'm not really sure why, but it made a weird noise and sounded like it was going to break it. The little antennas on his head seems like they might break off if a lot of force was applied to it. Not to say that this thing is cheap. I just pushed on its antennas harder than I think you would ever push on a object which main function is to sit on your desk and not be touched, and it didn't feel like it was going to break. But if you were to drop it and it landed on its head, they might break. The arms feel pretty sturdy too.I'm not really sure if this is a legitimate android figure. I've heard a lot of people say there were a lot of counterfeits. But I also heard that Dead Zebra makes real ones. If they don't, well this guy still looks and acts pretty strong and was worth the 8 bucks I spent on him. Hes nice to have around in case I get lonely and I feel like talking to my stuff. It's less weird to talk to something with a face than it is to talk to say a keyboard or something. So if that's what you're into, then this is perfect for you. However, if you're looking for a toy for a kid or something and want to play with it a lot, I'm not so sure you'll enjoy it. It seems like this figure's main purpose is to sit there on your desk next to your novelty coffee cup holding all of your pens and to look good.

Legitimate! How to spot a fake.
I bought this from seller AJK Kingdom, Inc, and received it in 2 days with Amazon Prime.I was skeptical about the legitimacy of the product, but For $8 (the cheapest I've found so far) I took a chance. When the package arrived, I checked it across a checklist (from user stopcomics on ebay):1. Real box is 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" x 4". The fake is 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" x 3 1/4" which is 3/4" shorter.2. The extra 3/4" in the real box accounts for a 1/2" piece of soft foam that protects the antennae.3. The real paint job is both lighter in application and may even be a bit sloppy around the edges, especially the eyes.4. Squeeze the android and the real android has some give to it. It slightly squishes in when squeezed firmly. A fake android is extremely hard due to the cheap plastic.5. The last item which was consistent with each of the five fakes that i received, was oddly enough, all of their heads were on backwards! its a simple enough matter to rotate the heads into the correct position. sometimes in the course of shipping a real android's head might spin around on a loose base, but all five of the fakes i had, their head's were squarely on backwards. All of the items checked out!

Product Fine So far
So I have foolishly been wasting hard earned money on these Droid mini collectables. I bought a box of ANDROID mini figures series 2 FULL CASE of 16 BLIND BOXES from Digigamers.Everything arrived on time. However the "blind" box has clearly been opened many times (it is worn and has some tears). One of the individual boxes was outside of the main case. many of the mini boxes were dented, have crushed corners, were put in upside and "appear" to have been opened and glued back together.I am going to contact the reseller but as long as none of the "minis" are actually damaged then I will not take further action beyond this review.Update1: I opened the individual box with the most damage. The mini was NOT damaged. So I rate the products a 5 and the shipper or seller a 3.5.Update2: None of my minis appeared to be damaged and the seller (Digigames) did follow-up. So until I can get access to rate them here are my ratings (as if you care) Product and seller 5 stars the shipper USPS 3.5

Great, but opened package
When I first got this, I was SO excited. This is the best and my facvorite design, and after looking around, finally found it. It was pretty expensive, but c'mon it looks beast. Although, my highest concern was if this was used even for a little bit before sent. When I opened the package, the box was serverly damaged(which I was really sad to see), and it was opened and only taped. Inside, the bag was opened. Maybe this was done to confirm this was the hexacode, but I don't know. I really hope it's new.

A collectible. And that's all.
Amazon wanted me to review this as a toy. It is not. There are no moving parts, lights or anything. This is for Fandroids who want to show it off.As a collectible, it is good. I got the blue one in the blind box, and was not immediately fond of it. I do like it now though. It is of good enough quality, and if the blue one (which I thought was the worst in the blind box) looks good, I think the others will be good too.

VERY FRAGILE.
I was very excited to get this out of the box when it came in the mail. I opened it up and I recieved a "GD-927". I looked it over and was very pleased, and as I did not want it to be damaged, I attempted to put it BACK in the box. In doing so I dropped the little guy on the floor and BAM, his ANTANAS BROKE OFF! I was very sad :( I attempted to use SUPER GLUE to reattatch them, but it was a no-go, since the antanas are so small. If you take away anything from this review, please BE CAREFULL! These guys are very fragile.

Beware of fakes - seriously!
I bought this here on Amazon and received a Chinese fake. It wasn't matte finish like the real one, the green ink was dull and flat, and there were plenty of blemishes. The company I ordered from was awesome however - they took it back and refunded me the cost plus shipping both ways. I eventually for the real one online elsewhere and it's totally sweet. Beware, the packing look completely authentic on fakes. If you receive one that doesn't look like this pic or the online ones it IS a fake! And I bought mine for like $15-20, not $99 like some are trying to milk people for.
