I've tried many whey protein powder products through the years. Most of them taste like cardboard if unflavored, and sickeningly sweet if flavored. This unflavored whey has a very gentle, innocuous flavor. I mix it with one cup water and a half cup milk and throw in a dash of vanilla. The resulting taste is mild--not delicious, but not offensive. It fills me up for three hours, and my lower digestive system seems to love it. I am a convert!

Excellent product with a full complement of amino acids. My orthopedic doc told me to take a whey protein shake to prepare for my upcoming hip replacement surgery. He said the amino acids in whey protein aid in healing and recovery. I do not eat fillers or sweeteners of any kind so this unflavored, unsweetened organic product is perfect. I use it as a meal substitute and it is very delicious and filling.

Very mild flavor, no fowl tasting sweeteners. Mixes in smoothies easily. Good quality and value. Have purchased many times.

I only use in smoothies, no clumps. Dissolves well. Unflavored doesn’t have any weird aftertaste. The vanilla is a bit too sweet so I do 1 scoop unflavored and 1 scoop vanilla. Since I have a soy allergy, happy to see sunflower lecithin instead of soy. I’m a repeat purchaser of both flavors.

I heard good things about this protein powder from a nutritionist and liked that it's grass fed, but the product I got from here is super sketchy. The first order smelled like whey (but also a little like baking soda?) so I tried it, but my gut became increasingly upset over a week of daily use. I ordered a second container and upon opening it the rancid smell was overwhelming. Got a refund and it went straight in the trash along with what was left of the first container. I'll order directly from simply tera from now on. The quality control here is completely lacking.

Great protein powder for smoothies

This lactose-intoleant lady is in bliss this morning!!! I was able to add the Unsweetened/Unflavored powder to my coffee and it was perfect! After years of trying to find the right powder, I stumbled across Tera’s Whey and am so glad I did! It has no flavor, other than a creaminess, so you can add it to anything! The container is a good size for the value for money, especially since it is pretty much a specialty powder. Highly recommend for anyone like me who is lactose-intolerant, doesn’t want sickly sweet protein drinks all the time, and who doesn’t like the weird after-taste of plant-based protein powders!
