Interestingly, the package states "This product is intended for use as a novelty product only. For external use only..." The only reason I can think of for that disclaimer might be the size of the nozzle -- it is a 6 inch long curved pipe with a 7/8 inch egg-shaped tip. The device is well-made, and there is a soft material covering the rigid plastic pipe, and all the mold marks are smooth. I found it to be quite comfortable. The design makes for very efficient enema delivery, as the curve allows one to hold the bulb up, reach around behind and squeeze the 15.5 oz. capacity bulb. The only tricky part is keeping the bulb squeezed flat during the removal process so as not to create suction, which I would guess would be messy and unpleasant. The connection between the bulb and the nozzle was tight, and the unit did not leak. Cleanup was easy, and the parts retained no odors after washing. Compared to my vintage hot water bottle and hose enema kit, this is a much better self-administered enema experience. I bought it because of the 15.5 ounce capacity and also thought the shape looked like it would be easy to use. In my opinion it is a great value for the price -- very satisfied.

In theory its a great idea...But unfortunately I found that nozzle does not keep a firm enough seal against the bulb when you squeeze it. Plus trying to insert 15.5 oz of water posed to be somewhat of a challenge. It created a tremendous back flow that's more of a mess than anything.

just used it for the first time today and it WORKS. ive got probably over half a dozen different brands (dont judge me) of travel douches and they all leak or have various issues. this is the first one ive gotten that actually works without leaking or being uncomfortable or impossible to use.i highly recommend it and i will be buying a second one.

What a worthless purchase I made with this product and having just tried it I'm unfortunately too late for a return. Here are the issues... 1. bulb is difficult to hold and I have large hands, 2. the tube portion does not screw into the bulb so it comes out very easily causing a big mess. Water goes pretty much everywhere except where intended! DO NOT BUY!!! The manufacture needs to improve design by adding a gripper surface to bulb and having the tube screw into the bulb so no leaks occur or the tube totally detaching from bulb.
