Very good stainless steel latch for my study
I went to Homedepot to look for one of these but all they had were mediocre ones. This was very easy to install. As a caution, the screws were a bit on the flimsy side as I stripped two of the screws. I had to pre-drill the holes before they could be easily screwed in without any issues. Very beautiful that blends in well

Thinner than I thought, but pretty sturdy
I brought this to use for my little laundry door that lead to my master closet. The problem I faced is that the door comes with a ball catch, so I am unable to lock it. Kids can easily open and claw in which would be a problem when I Need privacy. The latch lock actually comes with clear instruction with pictures on how to install. I thought it was pretty self explanatory, but the instruction was a nice touch. Unfortunately I am unable to use it for my door, due to the door not sitting flush with the wall i am trying to latch it to. As shown in the picture, having door trims prevent me from using it. I end up giving it to my dad who is using it for something else. Overall it is pretty sturdy, even thought it's thinner than I thought.

Peg came off
Mounted this to latch a security screen. Typical installation and worked well the first couple of times. On the third try to unlock the little peg handle came loose.Since two came in the package I replaced the latch but before I did I took a hammer and pounded the peg tighter into the bolt. Hasn’t come loose. The peg coming loose is the reason for two stars. Otherwise would have been four stars.

Intended use as a simple door hasp to keep my cat out of my painting room.It fell apart while installing it, its advertised as heavier metal, but its a three second knockout, most likely a scam to get in under Amazon radar
