Good starter kit for shaping branches. The aluminum wire bends easily but still holds shape. The included cutter works well for light trimming. If you’re a beginner, this is more than enough to get started. Advanced growers might want heavier gauge wire, but for the price, it’s solid.

Nice kit for a beginner.
I'm a beginning bonsai aficionado. This wire worked excellently for me. My tree seems very happy for my first try at this. I highly recommend this package. The variety of sizes is very helpful and some of the very thick wires I can use for other projects.
