Huffy 26" Nel Lusso Women's Cruiser Bike (Women's, Gloss Blue) (Gloss Blue, Women's)

Do not buy. Bought this for Mother's Day for my wife. The kind of bike grandma could ride to the park with her granddaughters without investing a fortune. The bike looks nice but was very difficult to assemble. Also very difficult to tighten handlebars and seat. Bolt and nuts for adjusting the seat angle appear to be made of ersatz steel and once loosened they cannot be retightened and literally pop off if tightened enough to hold the seat in place. That is a safety hazard. With a little care and better materials this bike would be a gem but apparently the manufacturer is indifferent to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. Why is Amazon still selling it when a careful reading of the reviews point up a lgion of problems? Do not buy.

Story time. I'm a senior in college this year, and this summer I thought to myself, "you know what would make going back and forth across campus everyday easier? A bike!" So I got on Amazon and I found this bike and looking in the reviews it was a brighter blue than advertised so I said "yes that's the one I want."So I order it. Three weeks before school starts so I know it will have time to get to my house so I can bring it with me on move in day.Now here's where it gets interesting. I rode my brand new bike on campus for all of three days when suddenly there was a popping feeling in my right pedal. By the end of the day it fell off and was stripped to the point that it could not be put back on. Now the first two weeks were very difficult and I was helping host events everyday, so I wasn't able to contact the seller here about it until yesterday.They told me that since it had been more than a month since the bike was purchased there was nothing they could do. THAT. PISSES. ME. OFF. I'm a broke, busy college student. I could hardly afford this bike in the first place but I wanted an easier way to get around. I have to lug heavy books everyday, and now I can't even ride my bike because it doesn't have a pedal! I'm sorry I'm too busy to have a second to write to you jerks! I will not be suggesting people buy from you!

I am a plus size woman and me and this bike gets along fine

It comes 3/4 together so that was nice. It's more an aqua color but I love it! It looks even better in person.

The bike itself is fine. Mine was not damaged in any way as a couple other reviewers have stated to have had issues with, so I was relieved there. I have not taken it out for a ride yet, but I wanted to mention for those who might be interested to know that there are 2 noticeable changes than you see pictured on Amazon.First, the cup holder now comes with a phone holder attached. It's not very pretty in my opinion, making the bike look more cheap. The top ivory rim of the cup holder is plastic and the phone holder is attached to the rim. So, you cannot take the phone holder off of the cup holder as the plastics are one same piece. You could take the entire cup holder off if you wanted to. In time I just may do that to improve the look of the bike.Second, between the two middle bars on the bike, there is a new decorative piece. The piece is plastic and matches the color of the bike with a plastic chrome colored medallion. This entire plastic attachment cannot be taken off of the bike as it has 2 metal pieces running through it to keep it place, which are welded onto the bike. This whole area of the bike doesn't look terrible, however, I was looking for a bike with a clean & classy look, and this really alters the appearance as the bike now seems more cluttered with accessories and too dolled-up for my simple taste. It sounds silly, but I am pretty disappointed that I cannot remove it. Again, it doesn't make the bike look ugly, but it changes the style, and it isn't the style I was going for.If you look through the photos other reviewers have posted, reviewer "Pm" who posted on June 22, 2017 has a picture of the same bike that I have, and gives a pretty clear shot of the 2 "enhancements" I just mentioned.

I love love love my bike. Oh my gosh the extra wide seat is why I’ve been looking for my whole life. The basket is perfect. It has a smooth ride. Only thing is one of the spokes thingies didn’t fit quite right and makes a clicking sound when I ride. I receive many compliments every time I’m out for a ride.

The media could not be loaded.  The bike is beautiful but unusable. The front wheel is completely bent. I’ve requested a replacement part but haven’t heard back from seller. I’ll update review if they respond. Right now I’m very upset with quality verses money spent on a defective item. It’s hard to see in picture, better if I could upload a video.
