When the person who sold us our house unexpectedly (and rather childishly) decided to remove the wall mounted lights in the dining room prior to their departure, I took this as an opportunity to find light fittings in the Art Deco style I've long admired.I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with these. They are sturdy and well made, and look so elegant, casting a gentle and flattering light.Others have correctly noted that it's important to fit bulbs that don't protrude above the top of the light fitting. We have four wall lights fitted to a single dimmer switch, so our electrician installed Osram LED Superstar Classic B 40 (40W) dimmable bulbs, which work a treat.If you're looking for a classy, atmospheric lighting solution that looks far more expensive than it actually was, then look no further. They are just gorgeous!

We bought two of theses. There are other sites selling the same as this but slightly bigger that takes two bulbs but they are over twice the price. These have one bulb (which is what we wanted) and were great value. Everyone who has seen them loves them

Having finally decided that this was the look we wanted for our lounge, we were astonished by the price for some Tiffany wall and ceiling light shades. These, while making a small compromise on the way the detailing is attached, we're by far the most attractive at their price point. They are glass, not plastic, and my only two criticisms of them is that the finer detailing around the top of each facet is stuck on, which catches a duster my wife tells me so need dusting with a brush, and the wall lights don't stay flush to the wall when fitted allowing a small amount of light spill from the edges. No doubt it's correctable with some thought but it's a minor gripe for the effect they produce. Overall a very pleasing product for the money which I'm happy to recommend.
