4 X Cubette Mini Ice Cube Trays (Set of 4, White)

I have not as of right now tried the cubes in water, I have however frozen a batch, and I LOVE these trays.First of all, the negatives... As you might have seen in other reviews, there ARE issues with trays sticking together, and it takes awhile to fully freeze, and they freeze unevenly if they're stacked...However I found an easy fix for all of these issues, I took four plastic bendy straws and inserted one into another until I had a rectangular piece of straw (the shorter drinking end goes at the short edge, and longer parts on the long edge), that is slightly smaller than the tray itself (The bendy parts at the four corners) I then stack the trays with the straws between, not only does this keep the trays from sticking together, but they also keep space between the trays so that the cubes freeze evenly in 12 hours time (slightly longer than the average tray, but worth it)the good parts about these trays, the ice cubes are small and perfect for chewing or sucking and the trays dump beautifully (as long as you allow them to FULLY freeze before dumping) they also hold more ice than you'd expect, four trays filled up my ice cube reservoire about 1/5 of the way...anyways, the trays themselves are great, and fit my expectations, however if I had to give a rating to amazon themselves, it would be a three, I expected to get eight trays for the price I paid, however the package arrived and I received only four... I called Amazon, and they gave me a partial refund so I could reorder and receive the other four trays (and comped me one day shipping) the second package arrived, and there were only two trays, I called Amazon, and only then did they tell me that there was a problem with the item page, and a set comes with only TWO trays, not FOUR (Thats friggin $6 for a single tray >.<) so they refunded me again, so I could order the remaining two trays I expected to receive... I won't buy any more of these trays as they're too expensive, and there are other similar trays of similar quality that I can buy for a lower price...

This is the second time I have ordered these mini ice cub makers (cubee's). For me I use them to make small cubes of pumpkin. We fill them with pumpkin, smooth them out and freeze. Yes they can be a bit difficult to get the cubee's out. However, I found a simpler way (at least for the pumpkin). I place them upside down on a paper towel. Take a wet hot washcloth and rub them on the top a few times. Sometimes it is immediate or takes a minute. This warms them up a bit, and then I twist them out. Once you get the timing right, when you twist them, all come out much easier. Anyway, we like them a lot, good quality, and decent price. Recommended.

I really like these little trays. The size of the cubes are perfect for drinks, eating ice which I do a lot. It is a little hard to get the cubes from the trays, but like another reviewer said if you let them set out for 60 seconds or so, they pop out fairly easily. The only reason they got a 4 rating is I would like to see small feet or a ridge on the bottom of the trays so they don't set right on top of each other when you stack them. This causes them to stick together badly which creates a real problem. They are almost impossible to get apart unless you run water over them which then causes the cubes to stick together. If you ever correct this problem, you would have an almost perfect product and I would purchase again and would appreciate you letting me know. If not, I probably wouldn't purchase again.

This is only my 2nd review on amazon. I actually hate to review because i simply just don't feel like it, but I'll make an exception for these trays. I paid full price so I'm not one of those reviewers that receives free or discounted items. I don't listen to them anyway. These trays are perfect and exactly what i was looking for. I love the mini cubes. I like crushed ice and this size is the next best thing. I've used these steadily for the past 3 days now with no problems. The trays didn't break right away like some ppl said, which almost kept me from buying them. But like one person said, make sure you run hot water over the tray and then bend it to get the ice out. 3 to 4 seconds is long enough. The tray is very hard to bend without the hot water trick and that's probably why some people broke theirs. I also empty my trays into a large freezer bag because it's too much of a hassle to get those tiny cubes out every time you want a drink. I also like the size of the cubes because they freeze really fast. Hope this helps!

These trays are not designed to be stacked. If you fill them perfectly and do not spill any water while putting them in your freezer, OR have any water underneath after filling them, then you may not have any issues - it's a hit or miss really. However, the water can spill out easily since they are shallow.A side note is that when someone uses a product a lot more than most, there's a bigger chance of a design flaw becoming more noticeable when compared to a person that uses the product every now and then. And I'd say this product has a simple design flaw.Another thing is that one tray will maybe fill a medium sized glass - therefore, if you plan on using small cubes often I'd recommend you prepare to not use the ice for at least two days since it takes nearly 10 hours for the ice to form. In other words stock up on the ice before using them then refill as you go.I gave it 3 stars because of the inconvenience of not being able to stack since they can stick to each other, thus taking up too much room in the freezer. In addition to taking a long time to freeze, once they are finally frozen it can be very difficult at times to remove the ice cubes. And considering the time it took to freeze the suckers, I am not happy with dropping a handful on the counter (or floor as it were).I do love the size of the cubes and the durability of the trays, but they aren't worth the price or extra room in my opinion. Maybe a different design would be better, because they are definitely useful and enjoyable if you can get past the negatives.

Y'all let go of the expensive 3D printed embed molds. These are WAY better and way easier to use 🙌
