SPANXsculpt Power Series High-Waisted Mid-Thigh Short - Lightweight, All-Day Comfort - Core Control Shapewear

Needed this for compression after surgery. I like that it produced smoother results than a binder, but it was really hard to get on the first few times. I'm not sure if it got a little looser or if I just got better at putting it on. Overall it's been comfortable and makes bodycon dresses look amazing (although the shorts do go a little long, so be aware that this will not work with a short dress or shorts). The line under my bra was not visible through a tightfitting stretchy dress and my butt wasn't flattened out by the shorts. I was worried about authenticity, but I believe this is an authentic product and have been happy with it. I've washed it once and air dried. I bought a SpanxAssets version of this item but those shorts feel rougher than these and I'll be returning the Assets ones. I tend to get claustrophobic but can wear these for 12 hour days. The gusset is easy to use for peeing, but you will need to remove these for #2s. I'm 5'4" approx 110 lbs and the small fits well but firmly.

I used this under dresses since I’ve gained a bit of weight and it sucks me in pretty well! It made my waist more defined and noticeably a bit smaller. It does make the front of my stomach look stiff, but it’s not a huge issue. I rarely have an issue with rolling, and I’m 4’10” so I was worried since it’s as high as my breasts. Definitely do not size up! Stick to your normal size or even size down if you’re in between sizes. I’m a size 4 in women’s and the small fits perfect.

I think I tried on almost every shapewear here on Amazon and this honestly was the best one in terms of holding you in firmly and hiding my lower stomach pooch, which is the main reason I wanted a shapewear. I ordered a small for reference and I do think it's true to size, for me, at least. PROS (+) + It does the best job to hide the little pooch area that I have. It's not completely flatten but compare to others, I'll take this one. + Has a pee hole, so you don't have to struggle taking it off and rolling it back up. CONS (-) - The biggest con for me was that it rolled down near the top and I would have to fix it throughout the night. - Super pricey compared to others, but you're buying the brand and the quality. - Might tear if you're not careful pulling it up, just take it slow, inch by inch, because this thing will def. hold you in. Overall, I still recommend this for anyone looking to hide their lower pooch area. If you're not having that issue then go for the more affordable ones because those are good to help shape and smooth.

The body of the pant was good except for the waist band which was beyond normal tightness. Once I let go to see where and how it would adjust, it was the most uncomfortable almost painful experience. I took them off immediately. The waistband is not a good design.

I tried it on and loved it so much. I even recommended it to my mother...I washed and am wearing it now, not even half way through my day and it is rolling down cutting off circulation leaving marks so uncomfortable...I am so disappointed because I really do look great with it on. I am not big but I love how it tones and shapes me. Unless you don't plan to wash it ever (joke please wash) just know it does roll and become uncomfortable along that line.

This is the first Spanx purchase I have ever made, so I can't differentiate this product from others. I've worn it several times and it was great. There wasn't any riding up on the legs, which I've heard can be the case with some. I purchase these to wear under a skin tight dress I wore to a wedding. You couldn't see lines from the Spanx at all, which I was worried about. I've worn them again under other items and they pull everything in just the right amount. They are pretty tight, but not uncomfortable. I've worn them about 3-4 times now and haven't experienced any tears. I also try to be careful pulling them on and off, since some of the previous reviews mentioned them getting a run. I would definitely purchase again.

I remember when spanx was a reputable company, and I still have some of their better quality body shapers from years ago. This is clearly worse quality than before. For the price, it provides hardly any coverage at all. It doesn’t suck in my hips or stomach. Most of the tightness is in the thighs. I’m a normal size person who normally wears a large. And, I’m wearing a small spanx. It doesn’t make any sense. If my normal sizes, large, why am I swimming in a medium or a large? Plus it constantly rolls down even though it has a gummy top that’s supposed to keep it in place. It’s very long. Like for tall women. I’m not even that short. I’m 5’4. I don’t understand why the products have gone down in quality so much. This is just basically typical junk crap made in China that we are used to for every single garment nowadays.

I wore mine under a very thick fabric dress for a wedding at the end of September and somehow I was comfortable all night and had them on for a little over 10 hours straight. I don’t understand the witchcraft, but I am here for it. I’ve never worn Spanx before, but I will never go back to anything else. The fabric is thin, but somehow super snatchy!! 5’1 and 129lbs i’ve given birth to two children and just hit 34 and these were the confidence boost that I needed
