Rockville RSG12 12” 3-Way 1000 Watt 8-Ohm Passive DJ/Pro Audio PA Speaker

I added some rubber feet to the end caps on one side so I can lay them sideways and use them as floor monitors when needed. Sound great for the value. Plenty of bass and the highs sound good without being harsh. Of course they're not as nice as some name brands, but still very good, and a fraction the price. I'm powering them with a 600w(rms) amp that seems to get the job done. Not very heavy, but seem well built. I wouldn't get them wet though, as the wood seems kind of cheap. Overall pretty good, I've purchased 2 sets over the years, and they still work fine.

As a pro musician, I transport, set up speakers, Amp etc., then play live keyboard for local dance events. Over the past 30 years I have used all the big brands of pro speakers. Needing new full range mains, I researched features and these Rockville beat all others for full spectrum frequency range, at less weight for same 12" passive cabs in all other brands, and at the lowest price! They exceed my expectations and are the best sounding speakers I have ever owned. Even the gang at last Saturdays dance heard the difference and commented how fab the new speakers sound.These Rockville blow away the competition!

They are great speakers just don’t use the cheap twist lock inputs they will fry the speaker since they break internally and loose the connection. Stick with the phono jacks and you’ll be ok. I don’t understand why they put cheap twist locks on them???

Easy set up and the sound quality meets expectations.

I am a musician & DJ and wanted something inexpensive but good. After debating for several months, reading all the reviews and speaking with the company I decided to take a chance on these speakers. What can I say " I am totally blown away" with the sound, Base reflex, Mid-range, Highs and quality of these speakers. I am running a 700 watt per channel amp and these babies handle it perfectly. I also have a 10 band per channel EQ and the sound is just incredible. I would Highly, Highly, Highly recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality product and a very. very reasonable price. I am an actual purchaser of this product and not related to the company and have not received any incentive to write this review. I just thought people should know how really good this product is since no one else is telling the real story.

Mostly acceptable.Had to rework them due to workmanship and quality issues. The SpeakOn connectors on both speakers were defective and substandard in that they would not lock & hold the plug - ended up replacing them with Neutrik NL4MP connectors. During this exercise, I found the workmanship inside to be substandard - the wiring was frayed and the soldering was poor with burnt insulation. And during these repairs, I packed the interior with fiberglass insulation in order to make the cabinets appear to be acoustically larger and for dampening. Also was not surprised to see that they were constructed of particle board - not my favorite material.

I picked up these, the 12” powered sub, and the Rockville mixer with Bluetooth. I use them for my man cave. It works better than expected. And people complained about the fan noise from the mixer, I couldn’t even hear it at all. I’ll be hooking up my electric guitar to it too, just for fun. If you can’t afford these new, they are also listed other places used. You can prolly score a great deal either way.
