My vet suggested that we start a glucosamine chew for our 2 yr old German Sherpard who has healthy hips yet as a large dog will be prone to problems. I started to compare the available brands and spoke to others who take it personally. The compound MSM came up frequently. My dog who is on a grain free diet loves to catch these, likes the taste and has had no problems with them. He has been on them now for three months. I plan to continue.

I got this for my 2 older dogs and one of them takes it with his food without problems but the other one won't unless we wrap it in a slice of lunchmeat or something. I don't think I will be buying this brand again.

My dog is a little spoiled and does not eat them like a treat. They do work. She is almost 12 and she is up and moving like she is 7 again!

Didn't see any response to giving this to my arthritic dog, Actually saw her get worse since this was a cheaper option after finishing the veterinary supplements.

Worst company to try to contact. I've sent several emails and no response. No way to call them either. My dog hates the taste. I have to force him to eat it each and everyday.

I have an older lab/shepherd mix and he began to have issues with his knees. The vet recommended very expensive chewable squares I bought from them. I didn't notice a difference. I had to take him back to the vet and they said he needed very expensive knee surgery. I had a second opinion and they put him on anti inflammatory medications which did help. So I began looking for an over the counter product. That's when I found the Vitawin! Compared to all of the other products, the ingredients had the highest amounts of glucosamine and chondroitin for the lowest price. I have been using it for a month on my old man and he is acting like a pup again! Running and playing with no pain! I highly recommend this product for joint pain! I am so happy to see my dog pain free and happy. :-)

My dog is older (rescue dog, estimated around 13 years old) and would sometimes not want to get up and go for walks--he seemed stiff and like getting up was uncomfortable for him. We started giving him Bone Clone and he loves it. He thinks it's a treat (although everything is a treat for him, he loves food) so he takes it well and he seems more comfortable getting up, going up and down stairs, and jumping onto the bed. He's been on it for about 9 months, and there's a marked improvement from where he was before he took it. One bottle lasts about 4 months, so it's a good deal, too. Will purchase again.

initially I was not sure this would work, but after about 2 months I have seen more flexibility in my dogs hips, but the cost has gone over $5, will not buy again
