My kids and I love this toy!
We first learned about this type of toy from the grandparents, they gave us a 20-year-old version of it, and my daughter loved building large structures and taking them to the playground to play with friends. Somehow kids like to build things that are larger than themselves and have wheels. This newer version is colorful, has the panels, and you get 6 wheels that roll in all directions, whereas the older one could only go forth and back. Since we got this toy, we have built numerous structures that have been so fun to work on and take outside. We made a table, a 3 kid stroller, a bed on wheels, and a baby walker for my 1-year-old. Do be warned, just like any toy that has wheels like bikes or skateboards, it would be better to have adult supervision, do not let your kids take it out on their own if they are too young. Also, make sure they do not build high structures with wheels, they will tip over for sure (there is a warning about it in the manual of the toy). The wheels need to go on long and wide structures that are low to the ground, and make sure they are supported well so they don't tip or get stuck in cracks on the sidewalk or road (I do wish the wheels did not have the yellow tubes attached to them to make them closer to the ground and less likely to tip). It is a great chance to teach your kids about the physics behind the center of gravity, and how placing a large weight on the top of something can make it tip over, and about weight distribution. For safety, always try out the new creation before you allow your kids to take it for a ride. (see attached image, we used 2 wheels in the front of the walker to make it impossible to tip forward, this was the 5th design we made, none of the previous ones worked). Customer services are really awesome too!

Worth the splurge during Safer At Home
I had something like this, called Omnigals, when my brother, sister, and I were little and loved it. We bought it for our four year old’s birthday. It was definitely a splurge but since were weren’t paying for summer camp during the pandemic, we could justify it. I’ve pinched my fingers once but the kids haven’t in the month we’ve had them. The kids need some help as they can be a tight fit sometimes, so they can’t play with them independently yet. Hopefully he kids will get stronger and the fit a bit looser soon. One of the wheels broke, I emailed the company, and they sent a new set of six wheels right away. The kids LOVE them and my six year old boy, who’s the builder in the family, has to include his younger sister in play since they are her toy. A great toy. Much better than a bunch of junky small toys that together add up to the same price.

Tubelox are exactly like the old Omagles and much better than these
I bought this set for my granddaughter and she has had fun with it but the wheels broke. Tubelox are exactly like the old Omagles, about the same price, the wheels are better and the kids can use the connectors more easily. I didn't find them until after this purchase.

More complicated than the old Omagles pipes
6 year olds could not build with it. Adults had to figure it out for them. It was too frustrating for the kids and the adults.

Great toy, needs adult help and supervision.
My son and his friends love the structures that can be made with the Funphix wheelies! They push each other super fast and are coming up with ideas for what to build next. Granted it's more the adults who have to put it together, but they come up with the design. My son is three and we have my friends kids come over who are between 3-6 years old.

This is a great product, but beware that FunPhix does not honor their return policy.
This is a great product, but beware that they do not honor their return policy. I purchase the deluxe set directly through their website.I purchased this set with the idea of trying it and upgrading within 30 days if my kids really loved it (which the return policy led me to believe would be fine - see below). The kids loved it so much that I contacted customer service within 10 days of ordering, asking them to honor their return policy, which I read prior to purchasing. The policy stated (and still does at the time of this review): “If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, just let us know by emailing us at [email protected] within 30 days from the date you purchased your order. We will be glad to refund the price you purchased it at, less 15%, or exchange the item(s), for what you choose. We do not accept returns after 30 days of your purchase.”I asked to exchange this set for a larger set, or to send me the additional pieces to make it a larger set. However, they said since I opened the product, we could not return it, but I could purchase additional pieces at a 15% discount. To purchase all the pieces to get the larger set would be $500, almost the full price of the larger set, even with the discount! I explained again, I didn’t need to return it, just asked that they honor their policy and send me the additional parts, which I would pay the difference, including shipping. Again I was told I couldn’t return the item since it has been used (still for less than 20 days at this point).Anyway – this is an amazing product. My kids love the item. But I’m sure I’m not the only one to interpret this return policy in this manner. Nowhere in the policy does it state that the product must be unopened to return or exchange. Unfortunately, since I’m not going to spend another $500 for half of a set so my kids can have the bigger set, I will not be purchasing more parts from this FunPhix in the future. I also will be warning all my friends who were looking at my set about how FunPhix does not honor their return policy. If they want to only accept returns of unopened packages, then their return policy needs to state that explicitly.
