This dial indicator is perfect for 2 strokes
I purchased this dial indicator (timing kit) based entirely on it being a Motion Pro product. I have bought their motorcycle tools in the past, and every one of them was purpose built for a particular job, and of very high quality! This dial indicator is perfect for 2 strokes, along with being small enough to fit in tight area at cylinder head (1 and 1/2 inch Dial). Most dials are in the 2+ inch range. And you can not beat the accuracy of millimeters for timing. And if you want to use it for air cooled 2 stroke motorcycles, you will need to purchase Motion Pro's recommended adapter. It gives the clearance needed to get the dial just above the cooling fins. Quality all around!

Gotta have this for proper ignition timing and port timing. Great tool.

Did not work on watercooler outboard and stop screw was stripped
