The best CL18 is CL16 in disguise
This CL18 RAM is well made that it actually runs very well at CL16 timings.Save yourself some money and get this RAM over the F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. This RAM is easily overclocked to 3600MHz at 1.44V with "CL16" timings set to 16-20-20-38. With the lack of Samsung-based dies in DDR4 these days, this set is the absolute best bang-for-your-buck despite being hynix and is the best CL18 I've found that is versatile enough to be run as CL16.However, the slightly less cheaper, Trident Z Neo version of this RAM (F4-3600C18D-32GTZN), was not as stable and the PC failed to boot many times from attempting to use CL16 timings.

so far so good - perfect final upgrade for older Intel system
Picked up two kits (64GB total) for a final push on my 2018 Intel build. Upgraded from 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair 3200MT/s — this G.SKILL kit worked right out of the box at 3600MT/s with XMP enabled. Passed MemTest86 with no errors. The RGB syncs nicely with ASUS Aura without needing extra software. Honestly feels like a better experience than Corsair, which forces you into their proprietary iCUE software just for lighting control.Solid upgrade, stable performance, clean look — no complaints so far.

Ouch! Poorly designed for installation
Others have commented on the quality of the RAM itself, so I won't be focusing on that other than to say: it works perfectly for my needs. But, dang is it hard to physically install! I bought 2 sticks to go with the 2 I already had, and trying to install these was a literal pain. The heatsinks are thin metal and protrude above the plastic casing of the RGB lights, which makes applying enough pressure to them in order to click into the motherboard actually a bit painful. The metal isn't sharp, so you won't bleed for these, but it definitely left a significant impression in my skin. You need to apply even pressure to either side of the RAM stick to get it to click in, and as you can see from the photos that is exactly where the metal heatsink protrudes upwards. Maybe just installing 2 sticks in alternate slots is easier, but going for a full 4 is bound to cause discomfort. It's a really cool looking design, but if you don't have calloused thumbs it can definitely be a bit painful to apply the right amount of pressure. I thought for several tries that somehow, someway, it was all just misaligned. Nope. After gritting my teeth and finally giving it the ol' college try, they clicked right into place and I promptly cried like a little baby for my poor widdle thumbsies (not really, but it was very uncomfortable). So just be aware, they look cool, they function as advertised, but the practical application of them into a motherboard is unpleasant.
