Thin, strong, great product
I live in a decent sized studio apartment in Manhattan. It has a separate kitchen and office from my living room, so I can't view my television while cooking or while working at my desk. I found myself with 2 unused tablets, so I figured I would turn them into TVs using the cable app and also just use them for keeping my recipes/spreadsheets up in front of me. I needed a simple, cheap, and also temporary but sturdy mount for the tablets, and this works GREAT. I am now looking for other places to mount the tablets because it is so easy. Haven't tried removal yet, so I may have to do that soon just to make sure all goes well. My last comment is that I am very pleased with how thin the mounting bracket is on the back. My iPad still fits into the keyboard case when I need it, which is great.

This was ok
It was super easy to get the ipad mounting system up. Put a sticky mount on back of your ipad and put the other part of the mount on a wall or something. I put mine on my towel rack in the bathroom and one on my bed (so I can play with apps at night without dropping the thing on my face). The tabs easily came off the towel rack and bed frame. Getting it off the ipad was a bit harder. I ended up scratching the back trying to get it off. I don't really mind the scratch but I'm sure some people will.

Love it - works great
I'm using tablets with PadTabs in 4 different rooms. It's so easy to mount, to hook and remove the tablet. And it's very discreet when the tablet isn't mounted, you barely see the plastic tab. I have to say that I only use the tabs with 7'' tablets. I once hooked an iPad, and it fell after a few days. Not sure if it was my fault, but it didn't feel comfortable, and since this day I only went with lighter tablets. My first PadTab is up for a few months with no issue, and I now have several of them that are working great for me.

Come on, man!
Sorry, but now that I have it, and now that I installed it on my wall, and now that I finally came to check out the reviews and questions, I realize this is not really what it seems like. First off, all the reviews complaining about it falling off the wall (I don't care if you get x-months out of it, if it's hanging an expensive piece of equipment, it should just simply hold it, and that's that.).Then, the stories of trying to get the stuff off of the device or off the wall causing problems.... come on, man!My problems are at least these two issues, right off the bat...1. The first problem for me is that there is no way of guiding it into place when attempting to hang it on the wall. I have to just hold it as close to correct as possible, and guess, and hope that I'm getting it in the right spot. Perhaps this is minor though, and if that were the only problem, I may just overlook it, but...2. The second one (which I have a hard time accepting that it's not a problem for everyone that gets this) is the fact that, with it installed according to the instructions, when I go to press on something on the screen, the entire tablet wobbles all over the place. Again, come on, man! Now, if it were only meant to be used as a digital photo device, fine, but the product photos clearly and deliberately show people touching it and pressing on the screen like they are interacting with it.To me, all of these problems (the ones I'm already experiencing as well as those that I really don't want to wait around for) seem like poor quality control in the marketing department at best, and false advertising at worst. Please know that I am not giving a bad review here. I'm giving an honest review (there is a HUGE difference; i.e. one can give a really good review and have the rating for the product be very, very low. The two are not mutually exclusive).Oh ya, about 'honest reviews'.... Really? How can there be so many 'honest' good reviews of this thing? Were they all friends and relatives or what? I do not wish the maker any ill. I just wish they would do more R&D and QC before releasing a product to the market. If they do, and if they come out with a new, better version of their product that looks like these problems have been taken care of, I will likely buy one to check it out (this time, the FAIL is on me, because I failed to come and check the reviews...or if I did, I based my decision to purchase on my needs and not on the reported quality of the product. If the new and improved version is a big FAIL as well when it comes out, that will definitely be on them).I am going to return it, and hopefully, since I just installed it within the hour, I'll be able to get it off my tablet and the wall without too much trouble. Here goes...

Very good solution to tab-mounting
UPDATE, 11/15: This mount has now held up our 7" tablet for over 2 1/2 years, on ceramic tile with a slightly uneven surface, without coming off. All other comments below still apply.PROS: Easy to mount, though you need to take care to make it level. Should work well to secure tablets of various sizes and thickenesses to wall. Easy to take tablet out of bracket for use elsewhere and return it. Transparent wall clip is barely visible when no tablet is in place. Has held my 7" tablet securely to ceramic tile for six months with no problems. Mount won't block charger cable jack when tablet is on the wall, which was a problem with a competing product. Once mount is in place, tablet may still be positioned either horizontally or vertically.CONS: Since you can't see what you're doing when sliding the tablet into the bracket, it may take a little fiddling to get it to fit completely inside and exactly level. One clip permanently adheres to the back of tablet, which may bother some users or make it difficult to fit tablet inside a case. Once in place, brackets are impossible to move and a pain to remove.COMMENTS: First off, know that you are paying for three small pieces of plastic that you'll affix with three small pieces of an industrial-grade Scotch tape. But I've not found any solution for less money that should work as well for a range of tablets. My application was to mount a 7" tablet being repurposed as a dedicated wi-fi control for a home audio system. Most of the time, it lives on the slightly uneven ceramic kitchen backsplash, but sometimes we'll remove the tablet to use elsewhere around the house. The clip is an excellent solution for a "home base" to park the tablet.Unlike some other commenters, both wall and tablet clips have held perfectly for the six months that they've been in use, with relatively frequent removal and return of the tablet; your mileage may vary with a heavier tablet or different wall surface.Although the tape cannot be reused to reposition the clip, it is possible to purchase small amounts of this specific tape from other vendors.

Pad Tab
This is a product so simple yet so effective. It is unobtrusive and very easy to fix. They do include an extra holder which is very useful. It might be more helpful if the company could consider selling the extra holders separately as we would like to use the i pad from more static points. This is a minor quibble as the product overall is excellent.

A good product, but...
My only issue with this product is that touching the tablet at the edges whilst mounted caused the back of the tablet to hit the wall it was mounted on. This made me a little paranoid about actually touching the mounted tablet. For display only, it works very well. If you want to interact with the mounted tablet, I'd suggest that you get some self adhesive 'bumpers' to stick to the back of the tablet so that it doesn't move around so much when touched. I got some 2.2mm high ones which were high enough to stop the tablet moving around whilst low enough to allow the tablet to still be taken in and out of the mount. (Search Amazon for "Self Adhesive 2.2mm bumper" for some options)

Does not work
My tablet fell of the wall within a week of putting it up. I tried it on smooth tiles and the side of fridge. The adhesive seems to lose it strength after a few days of being on the wall. After I picked up my dented tablet the adhesive pads felt very dry. Waste of money and damaged the tablet.
