Its good to have a backup 40V battery for extended projects to simply swap out and keep on rolling. This 40V battery pack fits that role perfectly. My string trimmer came with a 1.5A 40V battery pack and this 40V 3.0A battery pack works fine and extended the continuous run-time around 40% over my other battery pack.

I have nothing to complain about. I am impressed with this battery and I use it with my Black and Decker tools. it works for old 36 volt tools as well as the newer 40 V.

I used it for one time with my B&D weed eater and it worked fine. Put it in the charger for next time and it never charged. Confirmed it was NOT the charger as I charged another B&D brand battery in it and it worked great. The charger is NOT the issue. In fact, the charger charged the battery from a very low level to the maximum level before I used it the first time. It worked fine the first time. Didn't last as long as I had hoped or as long as the B&D brand battery, but not too bad. Obviously an issue internal to the battery and since I use my weed eater only once a month or so, I have exceeded the return time window for the battery. Sad. DO NOT risk getting the cheaper batteries. Buy the name brand batteries for your battery operated tools. Not worth the risk for a little bit of savings.

I bought two of these batteries and they last longer than the original battery that came with my blower/weed whacker combo. :)

the battery is good, lasts a long time and is more durable than the brand I bought before.
