Was looking for a red beanie-type knit hat with lining that covered the entire inside of the hat as well. Have been looking for a beanie type hat like this that you didn't have to roll up, that would cover your ears and that did not start to roll off or you head as you walked around and that was all acrylic (no cotton, no wool).This met ALL my requirements:the red is a natural bright red that is not too orange and not crimson; perfect for the Christmas seasonthe lining is black polyester flannel-type material and covers the entire inside of the hat and is of high quality without being too thick and bulkythe hat's construction is very high quality and not too thin or too thickthe size of the hat (I wear a 7 1/2 size baseball cap) was perfect as well and allowed me to pull it down over my ears totally or about 1/2 way without the hat stretching too much if I pulled it totally over my ears or being slouch if I only pulled it up to the top of my earsshipping was FAST and the hat arrived quickly and looked great right out of the package.The best thing about this was that there were no surprises as the hat was exactly as described and in my opinion, was better in all ways than I expected.SIZING: My only caution would be to people who have super large heads that are 7 3/4 and larger (XL-XXLhat) would be that the hat may be a bit more snug than it is on me and you may find that it does not totally cover your ears the way it does mine. Remember, this hat is lined so it has more bulk than a non-lined knit hat. I still think it would work for most people but some people may find that it starts to roll up off their ears if their head is super large. For reference the hat I received measured 8 1/2 inches from top to bottomProbably one of my happiest purchases on Amazon as this type of red knit hat that met all my requirements was impossible to find in any store for almost 3 years of searching.

Love this beanie, I bought it for work and man does it keep my head warm. I wear a size 7 5/8 s hat and it fits great!

Super soft and comfy. Shorter length, does not cover my ears all the way to the bottom of the lobes, which is what I wanted.

This product was purchased for the purpose of donating to a child in Africa to match a school uniform.

This product was too small. I had to constantly adjust it the entire time I wore it. I am going to give it away to a child.

The material feels cheap and flimsy. Doubt it would survive a wash.Additionally, it arrived without original tags or packaging. Looks like it was worn before. Unfortunately, the cost of return shipping is at the expense of the purchaser and costs more than the item itself.Guess it will make its way to a donation bin somewhere.
