Fantastic stand for larger speakers
I spent a long time searching for an adjustable speaker speaker stand that could handle my 11lb surround speakers. It seemed like the only option I could find was the VTI BLE101, but I didn't want to spend $160 on stands. Finally I found these when I was browsing Wayfair and bought them here on Amazon at the lowest price I could find. They come in pretty basic packaging, unbranded cardboard and foam, but they were well protected and arrived in perfect condition. These stands are heavy, made fully out of metal, and are super easy to put together. Every screw went in smoothly, and in 10 minutes I had a very sturdy feeling stand. It comes with floor spikes that set atop little metal pieces when on hardwood. All three points of contact are height adjustable to make sure the top of the stand is level, plus the three point design means that these won't wobble on any surface. I set my speakers on top of the included rubber pads and they grip it in place well. I'm not worried about anything moving or falling unless I were to bump it pretty hard, and I have them extended fairly tall at about 42 inches.I would recommend these to anyone needing some hefty stands.

Great stands... worth the money
These stands are worth it! Having the height adjustment is what I was looking for since I go from the living room to listening behind a desk where I need them taller. Putting them together was a breeze and maybe took all of five minutes. The all-metal construction with the cast iron base plate makes them super sturdy and heavy which is good for isolating sounds and vibrations from the speakers. They do come with carpet spikes, 8 rubber feet, and rings to put the carpet spikes on so they don't damage the hardwood or other surfaces. This could be a drawback to some people but the height adjustment is a screw where you can set it to whatever instead of a pin with holes like other stand designs. This might make It harder to get the correct adjustments on each stand since you'll have to use a tape measure but I'm just being analytical. If you are in the market for stands, look no further. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Good speaker stand, with a couple of quibbles
I like this stand, and I don't have any regrets about buying it, but there are a couple of things that a buyer should be aware of.First, the feet. I think it's made for carpet, so each stand sits on three spikes. They provide little metal disks to put under the spikes if you're NOT putting the stand on thick carpet, but the little disks aren't attached so it's very difficult to move the stand without coming off the disks and gouging the floor. Right now I have them sitting on folded towels while I look for a better solution*Second, I really like running the speaker cable through the stand; it makes everything look much cleaner. But the holes in the stand weren't big enough to feed the banana plugs through (I was using BJC speaker cables) and if the cables aren't *very* flexible, it would be nigh-impossible to get them through the second hole even without plugs. I had to use my Dremel to enlarge both holes before I could use the stand, and of course once you've done that, you can't return them. These are my first speaker stands, and maybe a lot of stands have similar issues. These are sturdy, and they look good, so I'm happy with them. But I'm a little grumpy about the holes.*UPDATE: A few days later, I removed the spikes and replaced them with self-adhesive felt pads. This seems to work well, and it solves the spikes-on-bare-floor problem, but if this was the manufacturer's intent, they really should have mentioned it in the (minimal) documentation. And, yes, I know, bare floors are usually acoustically bad. Compromises.

Extremely Sturdy Yet Adjustable
I spent a lot of time researching stands for my larger/heavier than average bookshelf speakers and decided to get these even though I thought they may be a little too high for use with my front speakers--I figured even if so, they would work well for my surround speakers.I picked these due to their height adjustable nature, ability to run speaker wire through them (with rare ability to do so through the bottom plate), larger than average top plate (many similar ones only being 6" x 6" or a little larger), great reviews, and heavy weight. I was blown away when I received them-VERY VERY sturdy and great construction. I did end up getting a different set of stands for my front speakers, but can't recommend these enough assuming their height range works for you. They look great for my surround speakers and their triangle base takes up less space then most stands, allowing me to place part of the stand beneath the couch (important for me given the lack of space I have for them)

High quality telescoping stand
Simple to assemble with solid base and speaker platform. Had a little difficulty running the cable within the stand, but probably because of the 12 gauge speaker wire used.A very good buy

They are sturdy and well made
Great stands, sturdy, adjustable height they look good. I’m using them for studio monitors. The base plate for the speaker could be a bit bigger overall very happy wish I had seen these stands before buying Inferior wooden stands that don’t adjust From a professional Studio equipment supplier for more money.

Perfect Stand...Just Perfect
I spent years looking for the perfect stand and finally found it. All metal and cast iron construction...it’s heavy and inert to keep any vibration/resonance at bay. Plus it’s FULLY adjustable! Have multiple speakers? This is the stand to always get the perfect sweet spot for all you bookshelf speakers. Just get these stands, put your favorite speakers on them and listen to some of these awesome tunes and enjoy: Hotel California (Hell Freezes Over) - Eagles Live MTV 1994, Winelight - Grover Washington, Hurt - Johnny Cash, Creep - Post Modern Jukebox, Like the Weather - 10,000 Maniacs, Please Don’t Make Me Cry - UB40, Horse - Daryl Braithwait, Try a Little Tenderness - The Commitments Soundtrack.
