Ho Delta 3-Person Towable Tube Package

My second one of these. Bought one at Costco but it sprung a leak so I returned it. Love Costco. But they replaced it with a 4 person model that has no wedge design so it will be a slug in the water.

One day of tubing with middle schoolers (light weight), and one of the seams ripped. I've since repaired it but I haven't had this low of time on tube and experienced a catastrophic failure before. While it was inflated, the kids loved it. It rode well, got some air, and gave the kids a thrill (we have 5 other tubes of various designs). So, this would be a great tube if the bladder was constructed better. I do not recommend.

Nice looking unit with a modern design. If not inflated enough ( as per instructions) it seemed to drag low in the water and it took on water.Second time out with it, on a calm day on the water, it flipped over very easily after just going over small wake bumps. We were very lucky that no one was seriously hurt as it is a very heavy unit. Liked the old version GT3 R as it rode higher up on the water and no matter how may bumps we hit it never flipped over.Taking it back and would not recommend this product.

Kids really enjoy. Harder to get two child riders out of the wake, but otherwise easy to control with speed/turns. Possible to dump riders off but can be hard crashes due to wave height needed

I wrote this review for COSTCO since it was purchased there, but I feel the quality to cost ratio is SO bad, I wanted to warn folks via Amazon, as well.First, as a reference, I've utilized numerous towables for years and each towable lasted for years after heavy use each summer season. Our last tube was the HO Sports Delta 4, which we loved. Since we could not find that model, we decided to go with the Delta 3 this year. I know not to over inflate them and understand exactly how to inflate, care for, etc. towables and other inflatables.Experience: The first tube would not stay inflated after using it only 3 days. We were on the lake with young folks who were dying to ride it. Luckily we were only 45 minutes from a Costco who gladly replaced it with a "new" tube. We finally pulled the tube out of the box, out of the plastic, and were surprised to find sand, bugs, and mildew on the "new" tube. We were able to inflate it and use it the rest of the day. On the second day, the second tube would not remain inflated.Aside from that issue, if you find one that will last, the tube is not designed as well as the Delta 4 nor a Sevlor model we used about 10 years ago. It tips much too easily. The side arm "supports" and main bladder do not support the rider (teenagers) well enough. The rider must lean far to the middle to guarantee the tube will not dip under water which could cause the whole towable to flip. In heavy wind with a child, the front is prone to rise up and become unstable. At the least the child and those in the boat cannot see each other. I had to stop the boat, then turn the boat down wind. I only mention the above because that was NEVER an issue with other towables. The pump works great and has a very long cord and comes with battery alligator clip to cigarette ligther adapter, which was a very thoughtful feature, but if you can't keep air in the tube, then what's the use? Costco treated us well and didn't question the reason for our return. My only question would be are the tubes factory "seconds"? The second tube was clearly pre-owned, even though the packaging was in new condition.

We really enjoyed this tube with our young grandchildren. They felt very safe in it. Unfortunately, the bladder popped after only the 4th time we used it.

Our family loves the Delta3. Excellent quality tube. Very stable and safe for the whole family.
