ECCOWomen's Corse Slip-On Wedge

I purchased these shoes first for $130 at the mall and have since bought replacement pairs from endless or amazon at a fraction of the price.I am the safety specialist at a 5 million square foot complex and walk 2 to 10 miles per day for work. These shoes in black patent are used daily. They are comfortable, supportive, very durable and attractive enough to wear to high level meetings. They take me from garages to labs safely because the heel is low rather than flat and the whole foot is covered. Still they work with my high instep. The sole offers enough impact absorption to keep me comfortable on cement floors. On the other hand, the high gloss and slight wedge are perfect for boardroom meetings.Polished, professional and still comfortable. Ordering another pair today!

I used to call Ecco shoes nuns' shoes, still d.( they have a sensible heal and conservative styling.) I spent most of my life in heels and it is much safer to be closer to the ground as you age. The quality of the leather is fine and well worth it. They came with an insert which I didn't need, though it was a nice touch! I would highly recommend these shoes.

I don't usually write reviews although I read them, so hopefully my review of the ECCO slip-on wedge will be helpful if you are trying to decide on this purchase. I am on my feet 10-12 hrs for work, at times standing in one place for most of those hours. So I needed a shoe that was fashionable to complete my business attire wardrobe. Mizuno sneakers feel amazing but not the right look for my suits (smile). I immediately liked the shiny dressy look of the ECCO slip-on. The comfort I felt the 1st day and into the 7th day was just what I was looking for. I really wanted to give the shoe a 5 star rating, however the only flaw in my opinion is that the shoe gaps near the instep of shoe with walking. Yet the shoe still feels securely supportive to my foot. And so far 8 days into wearing them no alteration in material where it bends into a gap. Leather soft enough to keep its shape.The shoe runs slightly large I wear 8-8.5 bought that size and still the gapping issue (very minor though). I don't think a size down would not fit well. I like them enough to buy another pair but I will most likely buy the "tie-up" version and give them a try to address the gapping. Hope this helps some one, it really is a nice looking shoe!

I wore these yesterday for work. I teach and am on my feet all day. I can't say enough about these shoes--they felt great. No pressure points or resulting blisters. I will wear them again today. They look great (I got the black patent) and feel great. I highly recommend them. I ordered a 42 (I wear and 11) and they are true to size.

These shoes are very well made, and have a very comfortable, sturdy foot bed. I had two issues which is why I gave them only 3 stars: Because they are sized to be (for example) 8-8.5, they were just a little too big, and I think the next size down would be too small (I can't wear a 7-7.5). The other issue for me was that, even though they are made from "italian leather", they look like vinyl. If I'm going to pay over $100 for shoes, I'd like them to look like real leather.

I'm surprised or read the glowing reviews of Ecco shoes on this site. I have two pairs of Ecco shoes whose soles have disintegrated after very little use -- huge chunks out of the soles. The shoe repair shop resoled them and after about a year the soles separated from the shoes. If you read the reviews on watchdog.com, you'll see that this problem is pervasive with Ecco shoes. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone and will never buy another pair.

These shoes are so comfortable and they fit well. Great price at Amazon over retail store price. Quality and look of the shoes was also something that I liked.

I purchased a pair of ECCO boots years ago and still like them so I decided to buy something from ECCO again. These shoes are very comfortable and warm in the winter. You can wear them with socks. In the front on the sides there is some elastic that makes the shoe expand to fit. The arch support is also superior to most shoes. I'm very happy with this purchase and know these shoes will last me many years.~The Rebecca Review

These are a good fit around narrow heel and wide toe. The heels are a bit higher than I anticipated. But, they are not that high! They are my usual size.

As a brand they are first class and these are exactly right as a sturdy,comfortable shoe. They are well made and reliable.
