Product Description Mason Cash Cane Bakers were first manufactured in the early 19th Century. The distinctive shape and embossed patterns have barely changed since the mid 1800's. The 15cm x 11cm (S2) Oval Cane Baker is made from high quality stoneware. Mason Cash has been the choice of home cooks and bakers for centuries. The origins of Mason Cash can be traced back to a pottery at Church Gresley in the heart of England’s ceramic industry in 1800. The pottery produced kitchen items made from ‘white and cane’ glazed earthenware sometimes known as ‘yellow-ware’ due to the colour of the local clay, or ‘barge ware’ as it was packed onto barges and sent to market. In 1901 the very first iconic Mason Cash mixing bowl was designed. This specific bowl has become something of a design classic and has barely being altered over the years. It is for this reason that the brand is renowned for its innovative, classic kitchenware today.
