Mudder Men's Carbonized Steel Binary LED Wrist Watch, Black

The watch was delivered in a timely manner, it worked less than 2 days and the battery died. Now have to go through a very aggrevating process to return it and get a replacement with no gaurantee that the battery will be any better than the this one. Amazon does not make it easy to make good on a purchase. The Simple Solution send a replacement battery(s) it seems that these watches sit on tthe shelf for a very long time and the batteries die in the process. It is veery hard to say you like a product when it doesn't work. Well, it worked well for 2 days. Reccomend that you really think about purchasing Electronics thru the mail that have Batteries already installed...Shelf Time is very important in this case. Especially Imported Items. Otherr than that a very nice looking, seems to be well made, it is very large and bulky to wear. Seems to be a good product. Except it Don't Werk....THIS IS AN ADDENDUM TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW.. After a reconsideration of returing this watch I purchased a new battery and replaced the dead one the watch works fine. Which proves my point on the shelf life of battery operated products. It took a lot of research on my part to track down the correct battery for this watch as the manual or the specs did not furnish that info. STILL ONE STAR.. for that bit of missing and important info. This is a very good product for the price, it is considered a throwaway which means the battery dies... throw it away and buy another one. The battery is very cheap and changing it was a a very simple job it took all of 5 minutes to change it. If you should purchase this watch and need a replacement battery the # Is CR2032 3V Lithium coin type battery

The first day I got this I fell in love, the instructions were not too bad on getting it setup. If you have smaller wrists you will need a pin remover to remove some links, and the clasp is a tad clumsy, but overall I dig the look and it's a solid watch. I feel like I could bump into the wall and not worry about scratching it, although I'm not gonna go out of my way to test that out.This was my first binary watch, and within a few minutes I was already getting used to telling the time with it quite easily.My only issue is that less than a week after I got it, the battery died, so now I have to get the battery replaced, I'm hoping that's all it is. For the price I am very happy with the purchase.UPDATE:It takes a cr2032 battery and after replacing it, the watch worked fine long enough for me to set it to the correct time, but the next day it died on me again. There must be a short in the circuitry or something. It looks really cool, but it just doesn't work which is a total bummer. :/So, now I'm dropping my previous 4 star rating to a 2, because it's really hard to like, if it's not working at all.

Ok, so you get what you pay for, right? I paid $17, and got a device that turned on, but couldn't set the time. Some tinkering later (I took the darn thing completely apart) I found the issue to be with the contacts of the circuit board. Was able to set it with a paperclip, but still can't use the button on the side to switch to the date.The device looks good, and feels about right for what it costs. Fun to use and gets people's attention.Can't recommend it unless you are ready and willing to get something that might not work quite right, and having to deal with returning it or fixing it yourself. Apparently no real QC department for these.

This well made watch is a nice conversation piece, and is a good way to fly your inner nerd flag.Pros;Well made, all metal.Looks really slick.Cons:Has an unnecessarily long light flashing animation before it shows you the time. This was cute once. I want to turn it off.Caused an allergic reaction on my arm. I have never really worn metal jewelry before and it seems that I am allergic to the watch band metal. Did not know you could be allergic to metal. Not the fault of the seller of course, but if you have sensitive skin, maybe get the watch, and swap out the band. The metal portion of the watch did not cause a reaction.

This watch is very unique. From 10 or more feet away, it looks like a really nice bracelet. If you want people to look at it and say "Ooh- it tells time? How?", you'll get plenty of that. If someone is truly interested in how it works, I explain it. Most people who ask are only interested in the "wow factor". I don't really care if anyone sees it or not - I just love the fact that I can tell time in a new way.Mudder/MudderOnline has excellent customer service - I had a very small problem with the watch and they went way beyond my expectations to remedy it. They've also replied VERY quickly to every e-mail I've sent them. They provide customer service on par with Amazon's customer service- the best I've received in the last five years at the very least. Jamie is the person who handled my issue from beginning to end, including the resolution. The problem was not dumped onto someone else.I give five stars to both the watch and to the seller/manufacturer.

Looks good, it weathers nice, with a metallic coppery color underneath the black paint, however after wearing it for quite some time there is a build up of oxidation or something on the underside of the bracelet from which i get a rash after a while. I like it, but i can't wear it anymore cause it itches like crazy. 3 of 5 for that, otherwise it's a cool watch.

Clip is very very very stiff. I had to use tools to open it which made some sharp edges that hurts my skin. Every time I wear it, I'm taking the risk of seeing blood basically.Functionally, it works as it suppose to.

Acquistato per curiosità e non volendo spendere grandi cifre. L'orologio si presenta come un bracciale molto carino, originale l'indicazione e la lettura dell'ora. Simpatico da presentare agli amici giocando sulla particolarità del sistema orario binario.Lo uso da circa quindici giorni,purtroppo saltuariamente si blocca perdendo la regolazione esatta dell'ora, si deve confrontare con altri orologi per sincerarsi dell'ora esatta e regolarlo,un problema se non si dispone di altri apparecchi orari a portata o nelle vicinanze, non posso essere sicuro che l'ora indicata sia esatta (potrebbe essere un problema di malfunzionamento solo del mio orologio). Potrei consigliarlo a chi volesse avere qualcosa di singolare spendendo poco.
