Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, 48 Fl Oz (Frozen)

This is very good Mint ice cream. The problem is Amazon rarely stocks it. You buy it onceanmd then it can be weeks or months till they restock it. Very strange policy.

A bit skeptical at first because it's from Amazon, and Amazon is known more as a distributor, but I'm happy with this purchase! I wanted to try something new and this definitely provided. Not sure if I would choose this option over a known ice cream brand though.------------------------------------------Pros:-Nice mint flavor! Not too overpowering and doesn't taste artificial at all. This is my favorite ice cream flavor and I've tried about 7 brands at this point, including niche ones (like mint chocolate ice cream with an avocado base, dairy free and very smooth texture! TMI, sorry haha). I'd rank this near the bottom though, unfortunately.-very well priced for the amount of ice cream (48 fl oz) at $2.99USD!Cons:-Chocolate texture is artificial and doesn't melt in my mouth like other brands. Not sure how to put this into words but it almost feels plastic-y?-Unfortunately due to the chocolate, I only ate half of it and it sat in my fridge for like 3 months... My brother found it and ate it without complaints because he's not as picky as me I guess (haha)------------------------------------------Thoughts:I like the mint flavor, but overall I'd choose another brand over this because of the chocolate texture.

so dispite the runescape players changing the lightbulb in most these reviews, where it takes 50 rs players to change a lightbulb 1 to change it 49 to complain how the old one was better, i personally am very picky when it comes to my ice cream and dairy in general, and this ice cream is delecious i can compare it to dreyers ice cream, the fact that it didnt come melted not even 1% thats what matters to me most when it comes to ordering ice cream online, was not dissapointed i do recommend and honestly could shave my own chocolated shaving on it np, and i can top it with whip cream, not sure but how the old recipe seems it looks like i could just do that and it would be same.

Flavor was great, wanted more for the money.

The flavor and texture of the ice cream itself is really good. The mint flavor is not as strong as expected. This isn't a bad thing, but wasn't quite what I was expecting. For me, when I wanted mint chocolate chip, I wanted M I N T Y.I did enjoy the flavor and texture though. I didn't find any off flavors or icy bits or anything that made me not want to eat it. As I got further into the carton, I did enjoy the toned down mint flavor. YMMV.The only real difference that I found was that the chocolate chips were more like chocolate shavings. It's hard to describe, and photos don't do it justice, but it is not quite a chip, and not quite a flake. I actually liked this, since it was more mint than chocolate for the flavor that you got. It also made the chocolate parts easier to eat, since they weren't frozen little pebbles of chocolate in your mouth. The ice cream can be as cold as it can be, but the flake-chip-whatevers were easy to melt in your mouth.I'll be getting this one again.
