Uncle Lee's Organic Green Tea -- 100 Tea Bags net wt 5.64 oz (160g)

A few years ago I decided to cut down on coffee. I would drink just one large cup in the morning and replace any other urges during the day with tea. The numerous benefits of green tea are well known so I wanted to use green tea for the task - but could not find any that I liked. Therefore I have been drinking all kinds of tea - That is until I discovered Uncle Lee's Organic Tea. I was at a gathering at my friends house and she was serving it there. Everyone who chose to drink the green tea really liked it including me. I have been drinking Uncle Lee's Organic Green Tea every since. (That was in December) It has a smooth and mild quality that just makes it a pleasure to sip on. I don't need any sweetener and the fact that it is organic is quite the bonus. The quantity and cost just can't be beat. I do believe it deserves 5 stars.

My mother hates green tea. Hates it with a passion. I've always bought different varieties of green tea from my local grocery store and every time I convince my mom to try some, she always has a complaint about it and doesn't finish it. Well, I on the other hand really enjoy green tea. It's my tea of choice to get my day started and my tea of choice whenever I just want to relax and focus on a project. I figured, instead of paying $5 for 30 bags of decent tea at the grocery store, why not spend $8 or so for 100 tea bags from Uncle Lee's Organic Green Tea? After all, all the other reviewers seemed to really enjoy it! It was a pretty damn good decision. The first thing I noticed when I brewed myself a cup was the heavenly aroma of green tea. Maybe it's just me imagining it, but this green tea smells differently than the others I have bought. It smells 10X better and it has a more powerful scent. Right then I knew that I had made a good decision buying this tea. It was love at first sip. Especially when sweetened with a dash of brown sugar. This tea is so good, that I decided to give it to my mother to try out. She had her reservations at first, like she always does, but was intrigued by the smell. After she took the first sip, I could see her try to hold back a grin as she asked me "Are you sure that's green tea?" She finished her entire cup. If it made a believer out of my mom, then I'm sure it'll make a believer out of anyone. If you don't particularly care too much for green tea, try this one out and see how you feel. Maybe you'll be just like mom and ask yourself if it's really green tea after you take the first sip.

I've been buying this brand of tea (I switch between green and oolong) for about 3 or 4 years now. I've never been a big fan of drinking tea but I like the health aspects of it. My solution is to add a teabag to my coffee pot as it's brewing (not in the carafe but in with the coffee and filter). When I first began doing this I only noticed a very slight difference in the taste of my coffee. Other people have noticed it smells nice. I laughingly tell them that it's my 'coff-tea'. Maybe it's just in my head but it seems to give my morning blend a very smooth taste. I've gotten so used to it that when I drink coffee without it, it tastes too strong. Hopefully I actually get an extra boost of antioxidants from it. It's a very reasonable price on Amazon - especially as an add-on to a Prime order. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I'm not a green tea drinker. But I drink too much black tea so I'm trying to replace some of that with green tea. Also, I keep hearing about the health benefits of green tea. So even though I don't like green tea in general, I'll rate this tea compared to other green teas I've had. I've had very good green tea before, and this stuff is decent. Keep in mind the price. Black tea at this price is just gross. My intention was to drink this when I want tea but don't know what I'm in the mood for, because it's healthy, stupid cheap, and tastes OK. It is filling that role perfectly. 130-years-old, here I come.

I've started drinking tea in the mornings instead of coffee because coffee was bothering me on an empty stomach. (I don't as a rule eat breakfast.) I let myself have one cup of coffee in the afternoon instead. But some of the teas I have tried are even more expensive than the coffee! I was happy to find this quality organic green tea for a good price. While it's definitely a tea flavor (not like drinking an herbal tea), it's not as bitter as some of the green teas I've bought at the grocery store and makes for a satisfying cup. I've started making up a big pot of it and putting 16-ounce portions in plastic water bottles to keep in the fridge for adding to my smoothies. Great way to get in more green tea!

It's the closest to restaurant tea I've ever found. I like that it's healthful as well as refreshing.

These are great green tea bags. It arrived on time and in good condition. The box is made so that you can keep your tea bags in there if you wish and the lid re-closes nicely! The tea bags are placed in the box in rows and is very neat and organized. Each tea bag is wrapped in a paper wrapping with a string for seeping. I love the taste of the green tea and I enjoy the fact that they are organic. My family likes the tast of the tea as well. There are so many in one box that this will last me a while (I only drink tea once a day). But once I am finished with my current box, if the price is right, I will definitely be purchasing this again!
