I guess you get what you pay for. Blade was warped / crooked right out of the box. Have not used it at all. Won't use it. At $9.99, it's not worth the hassle of back n forth shipping. Pro's: it's nice looking as an ornamental chef's knife.

I really like the design of this knife! It is very sophisticated and chic looking and looks great in my butcher block! My favorite part is it's 1 piece construction. Unlike other knives that have a separate hilt that is riveted into place, this knife is one continuous piece of steel! With this solid piece construction, you don't have to worry about bacteria getting stuck in the hilt. Overall, I think this is a great knife! I do wish it had come sharpened but I can do that on my own. In exchange for my honest and unbiased review, I received this item at a discount.

I got this product for my wife who has been wanting to buy a good knife for sometime. She got one recently that was not good. This product in contrast is not very heavy and the first thing I tested on was cutting the cardboard box this came in. It has a nice packaging. The cardboard box cut quite easily. This is a really light knife but a much better one in doing regular cutting. This might not be the best in cutting something like precise fish fillets but overall is excellent for cutting day to day cooking ingredients. I also tried cutting a whole chicken and it did the job well. I was able to get this for a discounted rate and I recommend this product.

Excellent knife! this is a fantastic knife and is rapidly becoming one of my favorite in the kitchen. Heavy enough to know that its made of real material, but light enough that it does not become a hindrance. This knife is also extremely sharp, so sharp in fact that it needs a warning, this knife is sharp. (Knives should be sharp anyway but sometimes cheap ones feel more like a saw than a knife). I have used it fairly extensively and have noticed no decline in the sharpness. Fits perfectly in my wood knife block in the large slot. I received this knife at a discount for my unbiased review. When I first seen the knife in the packaging I thought it was going to be heavy and my wife wouldn't like it. Upon taking it out of the package, my wife and I couldn't believe how light this knife is. She immediately wanted to try it on some fresh vegetables and it cut them like going through butter. This knife is very sharp out of the box and sliced and diced everything we needed. It fits nicely in the hand. This knife will be the only one I use in the kitchen from now on. Thank you!!!
