While I'm not quite sure what you'll be using them for, I can safely say they have held up great for what I need.!

I purchased these for a non-typical use -- as weights in the bottom of quart ziploc bags for sous vide cooking.They seem ideal for that usage. Although nearly the width of a quart ziploc, they are just short enough to easily insert into the bag before the food. They are heavy enough to ensure the bag doesn't float (unless it has an unusually large air bubble), while orienting it vertically (for good water circulation) if there is even a small amount of air from not using a vacuum sealer. They occupy little space in the bag, and have both a good surface finish for easy cleaning, and nicely beveled ends so they don't damage the bag.

fits 8mm 608 skateboard bearings without much effort. holds a 1kg load of a pla spool without noticeable deflection. perfect for what i needed to use in my spool holder for my 3d printer.

Bought these to make 3D Printer Filament spool holder w/ a skateboard bearing on each end of one of these rods. Hand to hammer the bearings down on the rod, but that was to be expected w/ 8mm diameter rod and 8mm hole on bearing.

I needed these to fit precisely within an 8mm inner diameter pillow block bearing, so accuracy is important. Three pieces were too large in diameter - a fraction of a mm too wide. The fourth one fit. Beware of this if your application requires precision.I originally rated this as only 1 star, but after contacting manufacturer, they gave me a full refund without requiring me to ship the pieces back. So I upped my rating based on their responsiveness.

I bought eight pieces. All eight were chamfered and clean cut as depicted in the photos. All eight measured between 7.99 and 8.01 (and within tolerance for what I would call round) which is fantastic considering the fact that these are not marketing or sold as precision ground rods.We'll see how they hold up over time, but my initial impression is that I'm satisfied with the purchase.
