Looks great and simple install
Bought these when they were on sale for $19.99, compared to regular price of $29.99... has 12 but I installed 6 for my side path leading to my backyard gate. Will use the other 6 for the front steps leading up to my front door perhaps. Before I installed the stakes into the desert landscaping, I soaked each area where each stake would be with water and then hammered a Philips screwdriver far enough down for the stake. Not very bright but bright enough. There is a power switch underneath the top cap but just leave it powered on as it charges anyways during the day. Note, make sure to install in an area that get a good amount of direct sunlight.

Better than a more expensive brand
I use these solar lights (after coating them with red translucent tail-light repair tape to light my pathways at night to guide guests to my telescope area. These are larger than another more expensive brand that I have, and the lights are brighter. I've only charged them up for the first time, they lasted over 6 hours when the other brand had faded out. I didn't time them until they ran out as 6 hours is longer than any starparty that I have. I found that the plastic spikes that insert into the steel tubes were so loose that they would fall out so I used a dab of hot glue and stuck them together. Now, they stay in one piece. If you don't glue them, I wouldn't push the plastic spikes below the ground level as you might not get them out of the holes. The best way to position them in your yard is to take a large spike nail or a large screwdriver and make holes where you want them to be placed. then gently push them into the holes. I do say gently as they are not a high quality construction and could break. They are supposed to be waterproof but I remove them after my stargazing so than when recharging them, they can be placed at an angle to catch the full sunlight. They will not charge up completely is placed in a shady spot or under a tree or bush. All in all, I'm happy with how they perform so far. another nice thing is that if you take them apart, they have a replaceable 1..2V Nimh 600 Mah AAA sized battery which can be easily purchased. I would think that as long as you keep them charged up, they should last a year or more before needing to be replaced.

Works Even On Rainy Days
These solar lights were delivered two days after ordering which was great. I couldn't wait to put them in my garden. Even though my yard only gets about three hours of bright sunlight because of all the trees surrounding my house, I was hoping that would be enough. Lately we've had a lot of rain, so I wasn't sure they would perform. Well even though they got very little sunlight, they still came on at dusk, but a few were dim. I was very pleased, and still fairly happy with these lights although one light is no longer working, which is the reason for giving four stars.

Not great- dull and flimsy
These are not great at all. Unfortunately, because of the weather we didn't install them until after our return window. They are very dull even though they are charged by the Arizona sun, don't light up much. The light is also broken up by the rivets in the plastic. One was broken upon receipt and will not light at all. They are very flimsy and fall off the stakes very easy. A few were bent on arrival, but because they are so cheap I could easily bend them back with my fingers. Good thing these were cheap, but not cheap enough. May use on side path and get better ones for patio entertaining area.

Dead Already! Seriously??!!
What can I say? I ordered these on April 21, didn't install them until early June. Here it is September and half of them are either dead, dying or not working at all. They worked well the first few weeks. Brightness was ok though I wish they could of been maybe a notch or two brighter. Def seemed more for decor versus actually being bright enough to light the way. But for what I paid I was satisfied. After a few weeks though I noticed that what little brightness was there seemed to diminish. Note the pictures above being placed slightly under my front bushes I expected there to be some issue with not getting enough sunlight from time to time. But as you can see my bushes aren't particularly dense and shouldn't have affected them to this extent. Well, long story short... even the 6 I placed around the deck and side of the house don't work and they have direct sunlight. So for the past month or two I've been taking them off the stalks and sitting them in the sun during the day and placing them back at night. Nope... some would recharge and work for a day or two. Others as in the picture barely have any kind of brightness and that's after 2 days sitting in the sun. The other 3 on top are completely dead. While the others are just barely working. Sure, you get what you pay for. Totally understand that. But I at least wanted to get 1 season out of them. Here we are 4 months later with half alive, a few dying and some completely dead. That's just ridiculous. So no... don't buy these. Very disappointed.

You get what you pay for
I very seldomly leave reviews on products that aren't up to par --- most of the time, I'm pretty easily pleased by product on Amazon, but I felt compelled to review this product after a less than stellar experience with the build quality. $23 for 12 lights seemed like a good deal, but beware -- these lights are cheap. The solar portion of it is well-done and looks great, but the stake and pole are basically useless. Of the 12 lights I bought, one shattered while gently tapping it into the ground with a mallet. After that, I tapped in just the pole/stake itself and then pushed the light on top to avoid that. The stakes are a cheap plastic and the sharp edges on the metal tubes cause burrs when you push the stake onto them, so you have to be careful. The stakes are shaped like an X, whereas the tubes are circular -- you do the math. So far, I've lost one stake while tapping it in, one stake was kicked over by a guest and instantly cracked, one stake was mistakenly trimmed by the lawncare guys and also broke, one stake hit the trash can and also broke off. So I've got 8 out of 12 usable stakes. These are probably completely fine for a garden or other low-traffic areas, but I do not trust this product near the driveway/walkway or other high-traffic areas. I will be looking for an alternate product with more solid metal stakes and a cylinder that is more than a 1/16th of an inch thick.

Love these! Dainty but really worth the money!
Love these tiny lights! I ordered more! I first bought the warm yellow color. We placed them 4 ft apart on our half circle driveway. Unfortunately I didnโt think they were bright enough spaced that far apart. So I bought the blue/cool light to see if they would be brighter. But no they were not. So I bough a second set of warm lights to add to the long driveway. And they look fantastic for the price! Of course they not as bright as wired lights but these are super easy to use! They are dainty ! They feel really lightweight and bend easily. Just be sure not to put them in a high traffic area. They are so worth the money! Also going to buy more for mood lighting around the backyard. I Just love these!

Perfect for gifting
I'm not the only one who renovate our house during the lockdown period. Many of my friends also follow the same path. That's why I strongly recommend these solar lights as they are high quality and come in a nice box. Another great point is they are super lightweight yet manage to stand strong with the strong wind. The only doubt I have is how long they can last. I will keep updating my recommendation after using them for a few months.

Great price for an upgrade
These lights shipped quickly - Easy to set up and plant as well. Absolutely love the look of our front path. We set it up against the trail of bushes, and at night the light reflection looks so beautiful.
