A smart book
A wonderful book, full of fun facts about George Ferris. Most children love Ferris wheels, so why not give them a book which explains how the Ferris wheel came to be. I bought this book as a gift to a child interested in technology of all sorts, he loves Legos and Tinker toys and he just loved this book. Inspiring story of a man with a brilliant mind, wondering writing and great illustrations.

This is a wonderful book! Well-researched and crafted
This is a wonderful book! Well-researched and crafted, it is a pleasure to read. George Ferris noticed the world around him and was inspired to create something unique. Others thought he couldn't do it, but George knew better. The use of language and rhythm makes the book great to read aloud and the illustrations are a great contribution. Most importantly, it's a fun story. In an era where STEM is the future, this is a great way to introduce the youngest readers to the excitement they can find in creating with science, technology, enginerring and math.I highly recommend this book for all youngsters - boys and girls.
